Upes: in the covets of educational hub Dehradun.
Placements: Even though there might have been a certain decline in average placements over the over the past couple of years, placements at our university are still among the top contenders, with several students being placed with a high CTC and an active and engaging placement cell.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are appropriate, secure and well-facilitated; they offer Wi-Fi and good food facilities are kept hygienic. Our classrooms are spacious and well-accommodating, according to the huge number of students blatantly enrolled in each course. The labs and other equipment required for various labwork are kept up-to-date.
Faculty: We have mid- and end-of-semester examinations as well as internal assessments depending on the faculty; they range from projects, tests, quiz, presentations, etc. The exams are thoroughly aligned with your syllabus; if you don't study vigorously throughout the year or try to cream things up night examinations, failure is sure to befall.
Other: Overall, the university is well-rounded, and the faculty and lower-level management are excellent, with some exceptions like every university. The environment and setting are amazing since it is surrounded by mountains. You'll meet all kinds of people, and your time here deeply enables you to learn how to find and be sick of your crowd and grow out of it as well.

Placements: The college has a hardworking placements cell engaging the students in their 3rd and 4th years to actively appear for mock tests and interview preparations. Students’ resumes are enhanced and refined before their interviews begin. They are given opportunities to work with several renowned industry giants.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our labs and classrooms is top notch. The classrooms are spacious as well as well-equipped. Residential facilities available are secure and comfortable. The campus has a lush green environment. Students hangout in the rest areas built throughout the campus to recharge between the classes.
Faculty: Curriculum is rigorous. While most of the faculty members are highly experienced, industry experts and well in touch with the subjects they teach, others lack the basics of teaching. Mentorship and guidance along with collaborative projects are initiated by the faculty.
Other: The fee structure of the college may be on the higher end due to it being a Private University. The facilities, however, match the fee with the campus life being rich having several cultural and educational societies, clubs and activities organized every week for the students to engage in.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty. Good placements in 2023.
Placements: For the competitive courses in reputable institutions, placements percentage can range from 70%-100%. The average might fall somewhere in between, depending on the different factors. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Google, Xebia, Adobe, etc. Roles offered are that of SDE, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure along with a good warden. Sports and infirmary facilities are available in the college along with a good crowd. The mess provides good quality of food at times. The infrastructure is well maintained. The hostel is beautiful.
Faculty: The campus is good. The college is value for money. They need to hire good faculty members and also need to revise the courses from time to time. The teachers are very helpful.

UPES Dehradun: Sophomore Year’s student review.
Placements: The placements are well prepared for the final and pre final year students. They go through a rigorous industry demanded skill enhancing sessions and classes that prepares them for interviews in both Indian and international organizations such as Amazon, IBM, XEBIA, ACCENTURE, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is outstanding. Labs are well-equipped depending up on the courses you take. All the required softwares and hardwares have been provided for an all around development of the students. The labs and classrooms are up to date with all the facilities we require. Hostels are well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced and often very helpful, engaging in student projects as mentors. Most of them are industry veterans so they have a great source of knowledge of the real world state of jobs and environment. Internal assessments and exams are carried out throughout the semester.
Other: Our university has several clubs in both the campuses open to all the students irrespective of their field of study or courses, which organizes many events throughout the year.

Most beautiful campus and infrastructure.
Placements: The top roles are for full-stack development and data science engineers. Companies like KPMG and Barclays visit the college for recruitment. They have internship programs with Xebia and IBM, along with various training sessions for even the second-year students. Packages even range as high as 55 LPA.
Infrastructure: Food is quite healthy and hygienic. Medical facilities include a medical chemist shop and doctor available at all times on campus, along with an ambulance for extreme cases or emergencies. Sports are given ample attention: basketball, badminton, football, etc. Courts are there for the students to play along with the coach.
Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable and willing to contribute to the students growth. The curriculum is such that it not only focuses on academics but also bridges the gap between being industry-ready and balancing academics. Semester exams are up to the mark, with relevant questions covering the points of the course curriculum.
Other: The best thing about my course, DevSecOps, is that it makes you industry-ready for any role. A DevOps engineer with a layer of security can be integrated anywhere. So the market will never be short of such engineers. Fests are conducted on a very grand level. Recently, artist Darshan Raval graced the campus with his magnificent skills.

Our course curriculum is excellent.
Placements: Our college provides internships for a better future and to get experience. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro, Barclays, and Deloitte. Many students got internship opportunities and pre-placement offers. All students got good placements in well-reputed and renowned companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has renovated hostels. It provides medical support systems. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a sports room, which has all the possible indoor games. The infrastructure of our college is good. It has advanced laboratories, well-equipped classrooms, and a library.
Faculty: The quality of the teaching is high for UG students. Faculty members are very good. There are internal and external exams for each subject. We should get 40% or 50% in internal exams and around 50% in the final semester exams. If you fail a subject, you can give a supplementary exam later. Our course is quite good and updated.
Other: I opted for this course because I enjoy studying this course.

Good because of the placement services provided and really good locality to study in Dehradun.
Placements: 100% students are placed, the highest CTC till now is 16LPA in my batch, the top recruiter is Amazon, ZS associates that came for FTE, SDE job profile. All the students got internship at the ending of 3rd year. Top roles offered are, FTE, SDE, Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure is best in class, the Wi-Fi might take hiccups now and then, But the classrooms are spacy and labs are also always equipped with the required apparatus, and library also has everything required, also we have easy access to open for all online library of UPES, access key for which and tutorial to how to open the site is also given to each candidate. The existence of an Anti-Ragging committee is also a reason to feel safe inside the college campus.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful and well qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends purely on the faculty, every teacher is not as good as the other teacher in teaching. The course curriculum is well made according to industry standard and now most of the useless subjects are eliminated and more industry relevant subjects are added.
Other: Events and fest are in few intervals but they are the best time to witness for sure also the security on those days are also relevant and adequate. Scholarships are also provided to the deserving candidates.

Review of School of Computer Science, UPES.
Placements: Our college has 100% placement record. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA and the average salary package is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Veta, etc. All students got internships at companies such as Providence India, BMC, Goldman Sachs, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs contain full of computers. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a huge library full of books and previous year's papers. The hostel consists of double and triple sharing rooms. Food served at the mess is very hygienic and delicious. An infirmary is available for medical issues and there is an ambulance in case of any emergency.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very much educated and fully qualified with great industry knowledge and experience. They provide notes and assignments. The course curriculum is very much relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult if students study the whole year. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I was very much interested in it. Our teachers helped students by mentoring the same. Many events are held in our college. Wow Wednesdays are organised every Wednesday. Oorja is organised every year which is a fun event. Recently, Dholida was organised in our college on the auspicious occasion of Navratri.
