An average college with a very small campus
Placements: The companies like commerce and finance-related come for hiring the students from CMR University such as E&Y, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Mahindra Finance etc. The students are supposed to take a 4 level test process to gain eligibility for interviews. The levels are Business English - written and speaking, financial accounting, IT and computer skills. The students are selected for interviews if they are qualified in all the four levels. The students are also supposed to do an internship between their 3rd and 4th semester, and a report made according to the requirements of the college. This internship programme carries two credits (50 marks) in the academic curriculum. The college also has a career advisory cell where the students are provided with guidance and clarifications regarding their courses and career options.
Infrastructure: The college has a good, but not an excellent infrastructure and the classrooms are spacious and highly ventilated. There are ample space, light and air in the classes and every classroom has a projector. Most of the faculty use the projectors for teaching and presentation purposes. The college also has a library where you can find all the books required for your course. There are no novels and books outside academics in the library, and it has the latest articles and magazines relating to business and finance. The college has a canteen at the back which is a small place with very less accommodation. The campus is tiny as there's no open place for students to sit or walk around. The campus just has the college building with trees and benches around the compound. It is tough to get a place to eat during the lunch break, and most of the students are forced to eat in their classrooms because of lack of space on the campus. The food in the campus is manageable, not that tasty, and the food cost is affordable by students. The college also has a hostel, separate for boys and girls, at a distance of approximately 200 metres from the college. The college hostels are maintained well, and quality food is provided to the students living there. The college also has its cricket, football, throwball, volleyball and chess teams and also participates in intra-college and inter-college competitions. The college also has indoor table tennis and chess room where students can play games.
Faculty: The course curriculum for B.Com Hons ACCA consists of few ACCA subjects along with few B.Com subjects. The ACCA subjects are very tricky and require a lot of attention and concentration to understand while the other subjects are easy to understand. The faculty for the B.Com subjects are outstanding, and they have good knowledge of their subjects. The faculty for ACCA are the problem in this college, and they are not enough trained for the curriculum of ACCA. The faculty aren't able to provide us with the quality and standard education and teaching that need for the students who want to clear their ACCA seriously. A lot of self-study and self-effort has to be put to pass ACCA through this college. The students taking B.Com Hons ACCA get an exemption of 6 papers out of the 14 ACCA papers, so the students are required to qualify in 8 international ACCA exams to complete their course. After the three year course in the college, the students get a degree in B.Com Hons ACCA, but a student receives the real ACCA completion certificate and membership in ACCA only after he or she clears all the eight international papers. The curriculum of the college is quite nice and interesting. The students also get an industry exposure through the internship programme that has to be completed in between the 3rd and 4th semesters.
Other: The college doesn't conduct many cultural programs and activities. Every year our college celebrates Onam festival by performing a Pookolam (flower carpeting) competition, singing, dancing and few other completions. The college also has an ethnic day at the end of every. The college also offers the students with scholarships under the category of sports and merit. The campus is located in an elegant and calm residential area. The area is filled with lots of cafes and restaurants for the sake of students.

The college with small campus, and average teachers, with good placements and good future exposure.
Placements: The placements in this college have to get improved as compared with the previous year. The percentages have increased, and also, many companies came this year, compared to last year. The companies such as E&Y STATE STREET TCS, etc. have come so far, one person got selected for E&Y, 15 people got picked for the companies like State Street, including me. And many more companies are yet to come.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is not up to the mark, first of all, the college is in a residential area. The campus is very small, with just one building. There is no playground or anything of that sort. All the games, sports etc. are played on the playgrounds of other campuses. There is no Wi-Fi facility available. No labs, as there is nothing to teach in the lab, the library is pretty much alright.
Faculty: The teaching quality was average, as only a few of the teachers were experienced, and had proper knowledge of the subjects. Whereas others were just made to teach different subjects, in which they weren't specialists. The student-faculty ratio was good. There was no industry exposure. The curriculum was useful as it was an international curriculum.
Other: There were no fests or events on our campus, and we must go to the other campus to attend the fests.

The glimpse of the college your searching for.
Placements: The percentage of students who will be eligible for placement are the students who don't have any active back paper, only those students are eligible for placement. The top recruiting companies for my course according to my knowledge are ANZ, Accenture, Deloitte, and State Street Corporation.
Infrastructure: The labs especially the computer labs are very well maintained and have facilities for more than 60 students who can operate at once. The canteen is also well situated. They provide very hygienic food and the taste also is better. The classroom has good tables and chairs.
Faculty: The teacher/faculty are well qualified and knowledgeable in the subjects they take which makes us good doubt. The courses provided are also related to the course opted and they also take us to industrial visit by charging a minimum fee. The sem-end exam is more reasons and logical based.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with this college
Placements: The placements in this college are very bad. Most of the students are not selected for jobs. Very few companies come to recruit for jobs and 1 out of 250 gets selected for the job. Most of them did not get a job in this semester.
Infrastructure: To be frank, there is no infrastructure at all. It is a small building with classrooms where people are dumped. The college does not offer a Wi-Fi facility at all. There is a computer lab which is barely available for use and a library with books which are barely useful. The college does not offer parking nor any good canteen facility. The food in the canteen is very bad and of low quality.
Faculty: The faculty members here don't have enough knowledge of the subject. They are just teaching for the sake of teaching. To be frank, you need to study yourself in this college and the curriculum is too easy since teachers do not have brains. It is very difficult for the students who are pursuing any professional courses as the faculty team is not trained for teaching such courses.
Other: You cannot enjoy in this college as the college doesn't conduct any fest nor any event. It is just a boring life here, so it is better to join some other institute than this. The college only celebrates an ethnic day on which classes are conducted too and activities are too boring, so better to stay at home.

The college infrastructure and facilities are good I recommend students to choose this college.
Placements: More than 50% students were placed in the college placement process and there were top companies like accenture, wipro and more big companies with good packages and positions and there were alot of opportunities of placement the average package was between 3 to 4 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was amazing there was alot of facilities of labs. Library Wi-Fi n good n clean classroom n good space in canteen to have meal and there were lot of opportunities to showcase your talent in outdoor n as well aa indoor games n quality of food in canteen was also amazing.
Faculty: The teachers were very much helping nature and understanding students helping them in there academic process and in other activities the teachers were fully trained and experienced with Masters degree and the exam are conducted with extremely strict n there was some difficult for below average students to paas out.
Other: I choose this course by seeing future need n value of this course and the event conducted here good.
