It is the best college in Dehradun and the most beautiful campus.
Placements: Most of the students were successfully placed with leading companies in their field of study. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Cred, and L&T. There are also a lot of technical internships available to students, depending on the year of study.
Infrastructure: Great labs for Civil Engineering, and the on-campus hostel is stunning. The facilities in the hostel are outstanding, with the warden being friendly too. The library of UPES is the show stealer, with its full of relevant books and a sitting area. The Wi-Fi is also great.
Faculty: The most amazing part of this college is the experienced faculty, ready to help the students with everything. The course curriculum is very relevant, and the syllabus is up to date with new generation tech being integrated in the course. Semester exams are moderate, testing the real capability of students.

The college offers a good experience for those who truly seek it.
Placements: Most of the students in my course get placed. The highest package I have heard of is around 20 LPA. Companies like Verroc hire from my course. All students get internships, but only a few get ones relevant to their course. Most of them were in SR Wings.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay. The library has a good collection. Wi-Fi is not the best but it works. The campus hostel has decent infrastructure, but the quality of mess and other facilities varies a lot during my time. The medical facility is good as long as it is available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, with an exception of a few recent hires. The quality of the course is very relevant and up to date. Semester exams are challenging but not too difficult or like a punishment. The questions align well with what is taught.

Facilities, faculty members, and infrastructure are very good.
Placements: The placement opportunities are good, with very big companies coming for campus placements like Adani, etc. The average and lowest packages depend on the students’ hard work. Students also receive internship opportunities through the career services department.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good with well-equipped labs and new technologies. The quality of food is good. The food court inside the campus offers a variety of cuisines.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and have in-depth knowledge and expertise. The course outcomes are relevant and prepare us for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but it depends on the students’ preparation. Faculty members are well experienced and provide project opportunities as well.
Other: It is a very interesting course but demands hard work.

Absolutely I am satisfied because of good culture, faculty, and good placement in 2025.
Placements: About 95 percent of students are placed in the year 2025, the highest package is about 35 LPA, the average is about 11 LPA, and the top recruiters for our branch are Cairn Oil & Gas, Vedanta Ltd, ONGC, Adani Gas, HP, Oil India Limited, GAIL, and many more.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good, we have a common library, the campus is divided into blocks in which classes are conducted, sports facilities are also good, the college hostel has a limited number of seats so I would prefer an off-campus hostel, but the food in the campus is good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced, they are always helpful and supportive, semester examinations are not very difficult if you pay attention to lectures, and you can score a good CGPA with minimal effort, as the course curriculum is related to industry requirements.

So basically, if you are willing to have good placements and be successful.
Placements: So basically, in my course, the strength of the students is not that much, which means the competition criteria is not very high, resulting in good placements. I'm currently in batch 1, and the total batches in my passing stream are 3. The eligibility criteria to sit for placements is 8+ CGPA, which every student should have for their own benefit. The highest package in my college is recorded as 50 LPA, which is recently offered in 2024, whereas the average top package is 17 LPA, which I think is good for a beginner.
Infrastructure: So TBH, I am not living in the campus hostel as the campus hostel serves non-veg food, and I have been a vegan from birth. So I avoid living inside the college campus. But I have seen some facilities and also heard more from my friends, like good infrastructure with good-speed Wi-Fi, properly furnished rooms with no smelly gallery, separate balconies, and many more. Medical facilities and other curricular activities are also available on campus in different places with different rules.
Faculty: Teachers are really working hard to help us understand concepts by being strict, which I really appreciate now as a mature student. Many extracurricular activities are also there, for example, I am an applied petroleum student, so I participated in course-related clubs that include quizzes directly connected to my course and help me with my academics. However, the semester exams are not that tough to pass, if you study well and keep up with the teacher, then there’s no reason to be stressed about them.

UPES Review- an aerospace engineer.
Placements: The top recruitment companies are Tata Technology and L&T. The roles include many opportunities such as starting as an intern and then securing a position by performing well. The internship opportunities are for pre-final year students.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average. The infrastructure is quite great on the campus but the food offered is not that great. There are a lot of opportunities in terms of sports.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and the course content is also relevant. The semester exams are moderate in terms of difficulty. The pass percentage is 35. The examinations are conducted in 2 sections, one is the mid semester and the other one is the end semester.
Other: The events are organised frequently which boosts the social life of the students.
