Course outcome of chemical engineering.

Faculty: The faculty members of UPES are mostly from IITs and they teach from the basics and also prepare you for higher studies. The pattern for exams is there. In mid-semester 50 percent of the syllabus comes and in the end-semester 100 percent syllabus comes, 20 percent mid-semester, 30 percent end-semester, and the rest is internals.

It is the best college in Dehradun and the most beautiful campus.

Faculty: The most amazing part of this college is the experienced faculty, ready to help the students with everything. The course curriculum is very relevant, and the syllabus is up to date with new generation tech being integrated in the course. Semester exams are moderate, testing the real capability of students.

Satisfied with the university and the infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The pure theoretical doesn't mean to be properly industry-ready. Exams are slightly difficult as the internal weightage is 50 percent, 30 percent is end-semester, and 20 percent is of end-semester.

The college offers a good experience for those who truly seek it.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, with an exception of a few recent hires. The quality of the course is very relevant and up to date. Semester exams are challenging but not too difficult or like a punishment. The questions align well with what is taught.

Facilities, faculty members, and infrastructure are very good.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and have in-depth knowledge and expertise. The course outcomes are relevant and prepare us for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but it depends on the students’ preparation. Faculty members are well experienced and provide project opportunities as well.

Absolutely I am satisfied because of good culture, faculty, and good placement in 2025.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced, they are always helpful and supportive, semester examinations are not very difficult if you pay attention to lectures, and you can score a good CGPA with minimal effort, as the course curriculum is related to industry requirements.

So basically, if you are willing to have good placements and be successful.

Faculty: Teachers are really working hard to help us understand concepts by being strict, which I really appreciate now as a mature student. Many extracurricular activities are also there, for example, I am an applied petroleum student, so I participated in course-related clubs that include quizzes directly connected to my course and help me with my academics. However, the semester exams are not that tough to pass, if you study well and keep up with the teacher, then there’s no reason to be stressed abou...

I am absolutely satisfied with the course but not with the college.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They all are PhD holders. The course curriculum is accurate according to the course. It makes students industry-ready. Practicals are also done to easily help us to see what will happen in the industry.

Life at UPES amidst the mountains.

Faculty: The teaching faculty members are very helpful and qualified. One can ask doubts outside the syllabus as faculty members are very friendly. A few can be exceptions. The course is regularly updated to cater the needs of the industry. Around 80% of students pass the exams. 50% of the paper is easy. 25% is tricky and the rest is tough.

The university is really well established and study is all good.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified, but most of them are freshers. However, their way of teaching is top-notch, and the classrooms are also very well-established for advanced studies. The university gives its best to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are pretty difficult, but if you study well, you will surely score well. The passing marks are 35 out of 100.

UPES: EXPLORE THE PLACE FOR OPPORTUNITIES.

Faculty: The faculty members were quite helpful, and mostly they are Ph.D. holders, and their notes were helpful in the semester exams. The course is well-designed according to industry requirements and standards, and internships provide diverse knowledge in every sector. Semester exams are quite moderate, each and every question is taught in the lectures, and 75% are able to fulfill the passing criteria.
