As if my year of passing, at the Bachelor's level, the college did not offer placement opportunities or even internships.

Satisfied with faculty, placements, and infrastructure. Dissatisfied with our canteen and timings.
Placements: There is a separate placement cell in our college. Though it's a Christian minority college, there is no discrimination in the case of placements. The placement percentage is around 90 percent in our college. Many students got placed in big companies such as Google, etc.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, we have the best infrastructure that a semi-government college could have. Our classrooms have a digital board, AC, and Wi-Fi. Our canteens serve average food, and the quality of the food is not up to the mark. The hostel facility is good, and the rent is also reasonable and affordable. The quality of food is also good, according to the stay.
Faculty: Our department has 2 sections and 100 students in total. There are 20 professors, so as far as I'm concerned, the faculty members are good. No lectures are attended by professors. Faculty members are helpful as well. The teaching quality of some selected professors is good. In semester exams, the difficulty level is easy compared to our 12th board exams.
Other: I chose B.Com because I have an interest in accounts. One area that could be improved in our college is the college timings. All of our classes are held in the early morning, and at the time when other departments start, our classes end. Our college arranges a good number of events and fests. There is a fest called Aarohan, which is organised by the commerce department and approved by our HOD. Our college also provides scholarships. Recently, our department provided scholarships for those students who were interested.

Very good infrastructure and experienced faculty.
Placements: The placements are not satisfactory, not many people get placed after completing this course. Most of us pursue higher studies in this field. The placement cell of the college is quite helpful and its representative always tries to help us in the best way possible.
Infrastructure:
Our classrooms have built in projectors and computers which help teachers to present the slides on the screens. The canteen is really affordable and the food is quite tasty, plus the ambience of the canteen is very soothing. The mess of the hostel is also quite nice.
Faculty: Our professors are highly experienced and very proficient in their field of work. Their classes are always exam oriented. Frequent assessment through class tests also made us exam ready from day 1. The professors are really friendly and helpful towards the students.

It has good faculty members and a campus with a clean and good environment.
Placements: The beginning salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA after graduation, as per my knowledge. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. There are pretty good placements in this economy where graduation is a very common degree. The fee is very affordable, and teachers are accessible throughout the day. The placement cell is also active for any queries.
Infrastructure: It has a good campus with a good environment. It is kept clean with good management. There is no ragging, and students need to submit an anti-ragging form beforehand that clearly states rustication as punishment if found guilty of ragging. Seniors are also pretty helpful. Overall, the college has a very nice vibe.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members and teachers. They are helpful with seamless communication, even via WhatsApp. Regular classes and attendance are encouraged by teachers. Full help is provided from their end to solve any queries of students. Class tests are also conducted every once in a while, along with presentation demos.

It’s awesome. The facilities here are great.
Placements: Various companies came to hire us by conducting interviews. Telecom jobs are also offered by our college. We have a placement cell where students can submit their CVs for different job opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice, and the canteen also serves some delicious food. We have a college ground that is open to all students. Students may go and practice different sports. Our college also organizes annual sports and football competitions where each department takes part.
Faculty: It's difficult to give exams in such a short period of like 3 months. Passing marks are 15. Overall, if you study and follow the classes properly, you can definitely score good marks in the semester. But the only problem is the time we get for the completion of the syllabus for each semester.

It is the best college in Kolkata for history and art studies in the environment of heritage.
Placements: More than 55% of students get placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are ICICI Bank, Aditya Birla Group, and Wipro. Mostly, students get internships in ICICI Bank and some in other call centers, and it is nearly 42%. Roles like manager, human resource, and some back office jobs are offered here.
Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi, AC labs, well-furnished and AC classrooms, and a big library with a small department library. It has a great value of heritage. It has popular seminars with relevant entities. The food quality is good. Rooms are spacious. It has quick medical support and friendly staff members, which makes it feel like home.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in everything. They train on the syllabus and also provide extra knowledge. They encourage participation in various activities like presentations and group discussions. The course curriculum is relevant, and it provides in-depth knowledge of the subjects. Semester exams are somewhat difficult.

The infrastructure of the college is very old, but it looks aesthetic.
Placements: Basically, the college has a placement cell but it is always locked. The college has a good reputation, which makes it easy to attract companies which offer us jobs but they basically pay very less. However, the job opportunities are more for the science department and moderate for commerce students. Arts students have few opportunities accordingly with very low pay.
Infrastructure: I live in Kolkata so I don't need to stay in a hostel. The college hostel is huge but the problem with the hostel is rooms are very small. It has common bathrooms and is not attached to the room which makes our lifestyle a bit difficult. However, it allows other students to visit, sit, talk, and chit-chat. The hostel has a very nice playground where we play cricket sometimes. Classrooms are huge and there is free Wi-Fi. The library has a vast collection of books. The canteen is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice like the young teachers are very helpful and nice to students. We enjoy with them but on the other hand, we have the old teachers who should be retired because they are too old to teach. Some of them are always angry. Exams seats provided by the CU are average and sometimes good and sometimes bad. Faculty members and exams will make us industry-ready.
Other: I am from the English department of Scottish Church College. The crowd of the college is really nice, and they all are friendly. Faculty members are also friendly except for some teachers. There is an option of paying fees online, which makes our life hassle-free and sometimes the person who gives the admit card who is present in the office is rude. We have good scholarship opportunities and there are many sports events and fashion competitions all over Calcutta, which college takes part in. We have many sports events and many competitions from different colleges.
