This college is truly one of the best in the world. I really missed this college.
Placements: In 2018, 96% of students in our course got placed. The college was one of the top in the world, but the course package was offered at the lowest cost to every student. Many students got jobs in Infosys in Bangalore, Hyderabad, the USA, and other countries.
Infrastructure: The college was one of the best colleges in Puri. There were clean classrooms, a library, labs, and Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities for beds included bedsheets, pillows, and one Godrej locker for every student. The food was of good quality, with a hygienic kitchen and canteen. Medical facilities and sports grounds for cricket and football were also available.
Faculty: Teachers were very talented in this college and had good teaching quality in subjects like Science, Technology, and Chemistry. Students were well-prepared for the industry. Semester exams went well, with 98% of students passing in 2018 and 98.7% passing in 2025.
Other: Actually, this course was very knowledgeable and practical, so I loved it. Experiments and practicals improved my learning. There were many types of event celebrations and festivals.

The experience of mine in the colleegee scs.
Placements: Here comes the sadest part of our course. If you pursuing normal post graduation then placement is tooo far from a student. The best thing is if you pursuing B.E. D then final year students will get the placement in the small scolls of our area. The passed out students of 2024 is not established in a Good jobs and placement so placement is bad in our particular course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of scs college is good but not that great. There are Wi-Fi available only for teachers not for students. Library is also not that well established due to the lack of books and too much steps to borrow a book. Hostel is kind a manageble for some students. Food menu is good veg and non veg items is available according to the day. The food quality is avarage like other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and highly qualified, they help you so much in your studies. The English honours course is very essential for arts feild like teachership, journalism and transcription jobs. So yes it makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are good if someone has clearance in three particular subject then definitely student will do better in exams.
Other: Due to the teachership line and communication improvement I choose the English course. Also the love for the novels and poetry attracts me towards this course. The better washrooms facility is missing it will be improved, then fast Wi-Fi is needed, also the printer for students is also needed. There are ton of events happened every 2 or 3 months like seminars competitions glory fest, glory fest etc. In surroundings there is heaven thing for some students is the sea each, food stalls are so tempting. All the government scholarships are available in the college.

SCS College is my dream one for Masters.
Placements: Honestly speaking, in my two years of experience, there have been no big companies coming to the college for placement in Master in English Language. But for other courses like B.Ed, there are such opportunities for students to go to schools for placement. The percentage is very low for getting placement in any companies that come.
Infrastructure: SCS College is one of the biggest colleges in Puri. The classrooms are kind of fit for 24 students in the Master's department. Labs and the library are almost useless for students. The Wi-Fi is not available, and the one that is available now is not that good. The canteen was shut down 2 years ago.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. Main faculty members have completed their Ph.D. Also, the guest faculty members are good. The teaching quality feels like some university level. The course curriculum is based on the student's mindset and luck to get a job in the future. The English language is very important to learn. Semester exams are good enough, and difficult, but based on students' knowledge.
Other: My love for literature is one of the reasons I chose the course. The best thing about the course is that you can be exposed to the diversity of British writers, which could help you reach deep into English writing. According to my research, there will not be any need for improvement in this course now. But some students think that there should be some grammar classes in this course. There are various events and fests going on in the college by various departments. Fresher and farewell are compulsory. Also, the seminars are good.
