Selvam Educational Institutions are good.

Placements: The highest salary package offered in our course 5 LPA. Teachers are highly experienced and knowledgeable. There is good training for placements. Semester exams are not difficult. Our college has various departments with more opportunities for placements in various companies.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is allowed only for laptops. Classrooms are very good, and the hostel food is also good. But they have high rates. Hostel room and facilities are excellent. I am lucky to study at this college. We have very high-cost laboratory materials in the college.

Faculty: Teachers here are experienced and knowledgeable. There is good training for placement. Semester exams are most difficult.

Other: I chose the ECE branch to go into the communication or electrical side.

The truth about my college, and I love it.

Placements: During our final year, we had some placements in various fields, i.e. both professional and BPO. In my set, we had a placement of 87% but less than 5% of the people went to the job got via placement. The minimum salary is Rs. 1,00,000/annum and the maximum salary is Rs. 4,50,000/annum (off-campus). Allsec, Zealous, Span Technologies, Aqua Retails, Tech Mahindra are the companies that visit. Marketing, call centre, developers in start-ups are the roles offered. There is no internship. We have a placement cell. They are trying to do their best for our betterment.

Infrastructure: Our college is now a developing college, and the infrastructure is okay, compared to other colleges of the same period. Wi-Fi is available with a lot of restrictions. I will support my college in sports because they are giving the best players every year in national level. A canteen is present virtually in engineering. There are no issues in infrastructure. Basically, I'm a day scholar, so as much as I know, it is okay.

Faculty: Most of the teachers here just completed their master's and jumped to teaching. Sometimes, we had PPT slide show and some seminars. The student-faculty ratio is 30:1. Some people got the opportunity of industrial exposure in UTL Technology Pvt Ltd. The course curriculum is same for Anna University.

Other: Each and every department will have their association events like symposium, workshops, national and international conference.

Good place to educate yourself.

Placements: To be frank the placing student capacity of my batch was a bit more when compared to our seniors. Placement percentage had been increased from 73.3% to 86.3%. The highest salary offered was 4.5 L by IVTL Infoview and lowest salary was 1.44 L. For ECE, core companies like Zebronics, TATA Communications and many came with affordable packages, student were offered roles of junior engineers, trainee engineers etc. Many startup IT companies like JusPay, Vernalis etc recruited CSE & IT department students with good packages. MNCs like Tech Mahindra, HCL also had conducted their drives.

Infrastructure: A high-speed wi-fi around the campus with a speed of 17 Mbps, digital classrooms with projectors. The college has good lab facilities where you can enrich your knowledge with the help of lab guides who will be available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Computer labs are available with high-speed net connection where you can surf about your projects. The college is having an IIT remote center which is approved by IIT Mumbai. College provides a good library where every student are provided with 4 cards and a unique login id. The library will be at open till 7:00 PM. College provides good support to sports and it ranks 2nd at Anna University level. The college provides a good canteen where healthy and quality food at affordable prices and special north Indian food is available for north Indian students.

Faculty: A good friendly faculty that was highly talented practically as well as theory wise, so that can clarify more doubts. There is Ideas Hub where you can share your knowledge with faculty and you will be given stipend by management for practical implementation of that idea. Teaching methods are done both in theory and practical manner and staff ratio was 1:10. The high count of ME faculty with the hep of which you can enrich your knowledge. Yearly, there will be 2 industrial visits where you will get industrial exposure. The course curriculum was very useful.

Other: The college has an ATM, is near to cities and has friendly seniors who will be ready to help you with whatever doubts you have. It is a well-disciplined college at an affordable fee. You can enjoy a lot in learning the things. The college will make you learn a lot of things and you can improve your practical knowledge like anything. Good support for talented students with a stipend.
