Our college campus is good, and our college is the best for girls.

Placements: Placements are not good in our college. Only a few students got internships. Top roles offered for our course are accounting and auditing, commercial banking, financial services, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Our classrooms are spacious. The library of our college is not huge, but we can avail books for our semester exams. Wi-Fi is not available in our college. The food served in the canteen is good. Sports are average. Games are not available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. Some teachers are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready. Semester exams are moderate. Some papers are easy, and some are a little bit difficult. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: Our college provides scholarships to students.

Review of Seth Soorajmull Jalan Girl's College.

Placements: All kinds of commerce and art courses are offered. You need a minimum of 70% to take honours courses and 60% for general courses. This college doesn't provide any kind of placements and internships. This college is very poor. It will give you school-like feelings.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. There are library facilities. There is no Wi-Fi. The canteen provides fresh food at reasonable prices. Lazy students can avoid this college. One who dreams of a Bollywood-like college should not even think of joining this college.

Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified. You need a minimum of 40 marks out of 100 to pass. New professors are somewhat caring, but old ones are rude and strict. If you are absent for 1 day, you have to provide valid reasons. You have lots of pressure for internal exams and semester exams.

Other: You have to go to college on a regular basis. It's timing is very problematic, as it from 7:30 am to 1pm.

It is an average college, but good for studious students.

Placements: Around 175 students are placed in our course. Till now no offer has arrived. At the end of our 6th semester, students will get internships offers. Various offers are there for the students to get their desired jobs. Many companies offer internships to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very basic. The library does have the proper type of books. The classrooms are very basic. There is no Wi-Fi and laboratories are good. The canteen has good food. There are no sports or games facilities. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and always supportive. Exams are equivalent tough as CU exams. Teachers are available for students in both offline and online modes. The teaching quality is good enough. All the teachers are very qualified in their respective fields.

This college values students' dream.

Placements: This college did not offer placements. Although it was good at education but it did campus placements. Not sure about other departments but in B.Com did not offer placements. One thing that was placed in students' life was punctuality.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. There were 4 floors in the building, and the canteen was on the 4th floor. The canteen provided varieties of breakfast. The staff of the canteen was entertaining. There was an elevator but students cannot use that. Jhalmuri was one of the best canteen.

Faculty: Faculty members were punctual. They help students in every possible way. But make sure their attendance counts. If students want non attend college then this was not for them. But the teachers were excellent. They make sure their concepts get clear. My favorite teacher was AC sir.

The college has good infrastructure, and the fee is very low.

Placements: I'm currently studying in this college, but from my experience, very few companies come to recruit in this college because it is a medium level government college. About 10% of students got placement offers from the last batch, which is very low compared to other colleges. The highest package offered to students was 1.5 LPA. I don't think students got internships from any company.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very nice. My friends and I don't purchase books from shops, as whenever we need any book, we just go to the library and issue it. If they don't have the mentioned book, they tell us to write its name, and they will purchase it within 1 week. We have good Wi-Fi and spacious classrooms. The drawback is that our classes don't have AC. But as we pay very low fees compared to other expensive colleges, it's not a huge problem. Our college is a commerce and arts college, so we don't have labs. The facilities of this college are excellent. I just love the canteen food. It's affordable, and the food is of good quality. The area is very clean and hygienic. Our famous canteen food items are chowmein, chole bhature, dosa, papri chaat, sandwich etc. The college also holds an annual sports day, and we also have a games room with carrom, table tennis etc.

Faculty: The teachers are awesome and professional. They know and thoroughly understand the subjects they teach. Their explanation is very good and understandable. They also provide us with good notes, which help us in our semester exams. Jalan College is very famous for its notes.

Other: I chose this college for its low fees compared to other colleges. I pay only 7,500 per year. They also provide various scholarships for financially weak students. We also have a college fest at least 2 times a year, in which we all can participate.

It has a good education, average infrastructure, superb teachers but no extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements were not held for our term, so none of them got placed. Due to some reasons placements were cancelled. It was disappointing for us. However, at last, we got our degree, and we are quite happy about it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it is old. The canteen was good with good quality food, and we were served fresh food with proper hygiene and cleanliness. It was a quite good place to hang out in free lectures. They serve dosa at a reasonable rate.

Faculty: Teachers here were highly dedicated to their profession and completed our syllabus on time. Quality of education is perfect. On-time regular test, internals and finals were conducted with good invigilation, systematic way and in a disciplined manner. The environment is also good.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am pursuing CA. I took commerce as my stream, which was helping me to balance both sides.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty and improper infrastructure.

Placements: The placement opportunities were not provided. We have to opt for other sources for employment. We mostly look for off-campus recruitments to get placed. The college gives us information about recruitments. They help us only to that extent. TCS visited the college once.

Infrastructure: The college provides a library, medical, sports and games facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available but is secured. The food provided was very tasty and affordable. No hostel facilities were provided. The infrastructure was not much good. There were only a few benches for a high number of students. NCC and NSS units are present.

Faculty: The teachers were qualified, but only some of them were helpful while others were very annoying. They used primitive methods of teaching. The student to faculty ratio was 400:40. As per my experience, the course curriculum was not useful. We didn't get industry exposure.

Other: Cultural events are conducted in the college, but no fest was organised.

Girls college with a regulated n close ended environment.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students. Majority of the girls are set to get married after college. The faculty members even don't encourage for professional courses along with graduation. Placement opportunities are not awarded.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure there is too old structured. No improvements would be seen even the environment is not hygienic. The college needs renovation work and it should take steps to provide the students with good facilities and better hygiene and a healthy environment.

Faculty: Faculty members are supporting and they offer curriculum in form of dancing, poetry, sports, singing, etc. Teachers guide the students in all these activities and they even encourage students to take part in all such kind of events so that they are able to interact with the outside world and built better personalities.

Other: Events are organised for farewell, sports day, teachers day, etc. The college do provide scholarship to meritorious students going through a financial stress.
