It provides an excellent placement cell.
Placements: Accounting and Finance have more placement and high-package opportunities than Marketing and Sales. For B.Com and BBA, there are good opportunities. Actively hiring partner Big 4 firms and many MNCs. B.Com and BBA are really very effective at Shri Shikshayatan College. Almost every student gets the opportunity to secure an internship. At SSC, there is a policy of one student, one internship, so one can only do one internship at a time. After getting an internship, if the student rejects it, they can be disqualified from other future opportunities from the placement cell.
Infrastructure: There are fully air-conditioned classrooms and proper facilities for clean drinking water and normal water. The canteen provides clean food. The campus is clean. Overall, it is worthy of getting into SSC. Wi-Fi, labs, AC classrooms, and a premium library with 60,000 latest books make this college worthy enough to get into SSC.
Faculty: There are always good opportunities for students. Teachers are really polite and supportive. The B.Com Hons course at Shri Shikshayatan College makes students fully industry ready. Exams are difficult, but teachers are always there to guide students. Each teacher is well qualified and professional. They know the CU pattern well. For Semester 1, everyone should follow the class notes from EH Ma'am and SOM Sir because some papers are set from their notes. For the Microeconomics paper, the paper setter is from the home centre.

Shri Shikshayatan College provides great placement and good value for education.
Placements: College has an active placement cell. Reputed companies like PwC, Deloitte, EY, & ICICI Bank visit for recruitment. The college provides helpful grooming workshops. These workshops prepare students for interviews. The college also provides internship programmes during the course.
Infrastructure: The college provides a well-kept, AC campus. It includes smart classrooms and fully equipped practical labs. The library is superbly organized. It has a wide range of academic books. It also has peaceful reading areas. The canteen provides a good selection of budget friendly food options.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and professional. They are very helpful and understanding. They share practical knowledge. They use real-life examples to explain the theoretical part. The semester exams are slightly difficult. The pass percentage is 70 percent.

Good faculty, decent infrastructure, and a positive campus life.
Placements: I can't give an exact placement figure. However, the college has told us that they are working on bringing in good companies, including the Big Four, for placements in the future.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure. Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, classrooms, and library are available. The canteen is good. I haven't used the medical facilities yet. Only issue is the sports activities starts around 3:00 PM which is difficult for students who have morning classes.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Quality of teaching is 9/10. The curriculum is relevant but it is mostly theory-based. It doesn't provide enough practical knowledge. The semester exams are quite challenging, which I think is good for our learning and growth. The pass percentage is also quite good.

Coffee, classes, and campus life at Shri Shikshayatan College.
Placements: The placement cell strives to offer students placement and internship opportunities, live projects, guest lectures, workshops, industry visits, and other activities. The college has successfully placed over 500 students in companies and helps students get their dream jobs at Deloitte, PwC, Brain and Company, ICICI Bank, and EY as well as placements and internships. The Placement cell is functional throughout the week giving students who are active in building their skills and getting industry-ready.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with infrastructure and provides a good atmosphere for academic purposes. All classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have audio-visual facilities like smart boards and projectors. The classrooms are smart in the true sense of the word. The college itself does not have any hostel facility but there are good PGs and hostels available nearby.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and approachable and try their level best to address every minor and major problem within academia and beyond. Though under CU, SSC organises several other workshops on hot trending topics to help students keep up with the modern world and are ready to face the competition. The exam pattern and all is followed as given by the University of Calcutta.
Other: Shri Shikshayatan College is a trend setter in its own way and is well known for the latest. Modern, academic-centric infrastructure. Accredited four times by NAAC, the college offers all-round holistic development preparing women ready to face the world beyond the gate. Through different societies like the entrepreneurship society, consulting club, nature club, English literary society, Bengal literary society, debating society, etc. It provides a competitive environment for all-round development. Scholarship programs of the West Bengal government and freeship offered by the colleges help students in every possible way.

It's the best choice for you.
Placements: This college provides good education with placements every now and then and there are also more activities so that you get selected. Recruiting companies are TCS, Deloitte, startup companies, etc. The roles offered are junior accountant, business management, Excel expert, etc.
Infrastructure: Students get free Wi-Fi and they can bring their laptops with them. All the classrooms have AC and the library is so quiet and beautifully organized. The canteen food is good and they make it in front of you with gloves but there is too much noise. The environment is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and always try to make their students better. There are loads of curriculum that help to develop your personality. The exams are quite average like the CU questions. The pass percentage is 35 percent. They always believe in us.
Other: I chose this course because of its placements, swimming pool, and based on education. It would be better if the students got a trip like an assignment.

Placements in 2025 are really good.
Placements: Companies like Ernst & Young, KPMG, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and many more come with good offers and decent packages. Every student is given an opportunity to sit in placements. Opportunities in domains like audit, tax, finance, marketing, sales, etc., are provided.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students, labs are fully furnished and well-maintained, and the college is clean and tidy. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable with a good atmosphere. The library has lots of books arranged properly. They also improved the food in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and well-qualified. They are really helpful and also provide career guidance if you reach out to them. The curriculum followed is as per the guidelines of Calcutta University, and the difficulty level of the exams is also the same as that of CU.
Other: The college has lots of societies and gives opportunities to participate in various intra-college and inter-college events.

Wasted my money on this profit-oriented college.
Placements: Placement opportunities were poor. In my course, there were students with 8 GPA. But very handful of them were selected. Even I got an internship through Internshala. Top company was TCS but very few of them got selected. Even the package was below 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classroom was decent. I would not say it was too nice. Laptop conditions were very poor though. No Wi-Fi was provided at the college. Even your own cellular data will not work in that college. Canteen food tasted horrible. We had one room for sports that was always locked.
Faculty: Some teachers were not knowledgeable at all. Few think you had a lot of money to waste on paper and prints out. Not eco-friendly at all. Even the tiniest thing could be done without printouts. They will want you to invest your money in it and increase the sales of their in built stationery under the college.
Other: I wanted to pursue B.Com (hons) because I have an interest in accounts. Nothing was the best thing about my college and everything could be improved. Very crowded classroom and campus. It was a profit-oriented college. No event and fest was conducted.

Good college and has good extracurricular activities and opportunities. It has well discipline.
Placements: Shri Shikshayatan College provides good placement facilities with the assistance of its placement cell. Many known and reputed companies come for campus placements. If you have good academics and have the ability then you must get the placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and their labs are all fully equipped with modern equipment. Library also provides various kinds of books and has internet access. They also have a good auditorium in which all the programs are held. Hostel facility provided by the college is also good and has cleanliness all around.
Faculty: Teachers are really supportive. They will make sure about the relevance of course, subject, and tech. The semester exams are not too tough and it is conducted by University of Calcutta. You will also get the chance to participate in various clubs and also other events.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in finance. I am pursuing CA so it will be beneficial to this.
