My personal favorite- Surendranath College.

Placements: Surendranth college has an excellent placement record with top companies actively recruiting from the college. The placement cell provides substantial support to students helping them prepare for interviews and internships. The college has an impressive placement record with strong industries.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is outstanding. The curriculum is outdated and needs to be changed because it is the same curriculum. Modern classrooms are equipped with technology such as projectors and smartboards. That's all I want to say this college has the best facility.

Faculty: Academically, it's so much better than rest. Our faculty and HOD are solving any type of problem very nicely. The college excels in academics with a strong curriculum, dedicated faculty and ample research.

Other: The transportation is good and don't expect anything like in movies.

Review of Surendranath College, Kolkata.

Placements: There are no top recruiting companies that visit our college to hire students.

Infrastructure: There are no research centers in our course. Wi-Fi facility is not available. It also provides a library but valuable books are not available. There is no playground. The canteen facility is average and they provide vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items.

Faculty: All faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderate in this college but it is difficult to score good marks.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course is that understudies never get exhausted while contemplating.

If you are looking for B.Com then you must come at Surendranath.

Placements: 60% above students have been placed from my course. The lowest package 2.4 LPA, highest is 4 LPA. Wipro is the top recruiting company. 70% students get internship from my course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and we have ACs, good environment, library, lab, playground, canteen and well maintained classrooms. Many facilities are present in our college. The quality of facility is average in hostel. Food available in the mess and the canteen is good. All the types of medical help is provided to us.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They all have years of teaching experience. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry ready. The semester exams are good. Pass percentage is 40.

Our college is an excellent college for B.com students.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 0.8 LPA and the lowest salary offered package offered was 0.5 LPA. Top companies like Swift, Infotech, HDFC, and many more visited our campus. The top role offered in our course was assistant manager.

Infrastructure: We had good facilities and infrastructure available for our department. These were 2 labs, 4 classrooms, Wi-Fi, canteen, medical facilities, sports and games, 1 huge well-decorated common room, 2 offices, and an ATM of Bank of Baroda. At our college, the food quality was awesome and delicious. Medical facilities were also good.

Faculty: Our teachers were very helpful. They were well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was wonderful. They were loving and caring. In college, there were many types of students but our teachers concentrated on all of them.

Other: I like accounting so I chose this course. A minimum grade of 50% was required for admission to the B.com course.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members and teaching styles.

Placements: More or less 35 percent of students got placed in B.Com (H). The highest package offered was 4 Lacs per annum, the average was 2-3 L. P. A. And the lowest was about 50 thousands per annum. Top recruiting companies for this course were namely Tata Consultancy Services, Nestle, Amul, etc. About 30 percent got internship in Nestles and TCS. The role placed by our course was focusing on practical business skill which helped in placement.

Infrastructure: I must say that the facility includes free Wi-Fi to the students for study purpose but the quality of net was not good. The college has lots of big size classrooms. Each classroom was well furnished, neat and clean which makes the environment for study cool. The college has also a library which posses lots of books regarding curriculum of Calcutta University. The hostel facility was also quite good because the quality of good was good and acceptable. It has also medical facilities for emergency. It supports sports and games for the interested student.

Faculty: It is also an impressive thing that all the teachers were highly qualified, knowledgeable and helpful in all manners. They were having supportive nature and the quality of teaching was very much appealing. The course is too much relevant because it makes the student ready for appearing in CA, CMA, CS etc. Which automatically makes student industry ready. The semester exams are not too difficult but not too easy. The pass percent is 30 percent.

Other: I chose this course as I was interested in studying commerce and accounts. The best things were that this course fulfill the demand of a student who wants to make his/her career in the field of commerce. The Wi-Fi connection, and the more practical application of subject should be focused and improved. The campus was full of crowd and all were frank and friendly. It also provide scholarship to students. It also support extra curricular activities.
