College is good and faculty members are cooperative.
Placements: There is no such placement related to nutritionists or dieticians. All placements are related to other courses. There is no such recruiting company related to our course. The roles offered for our course are just as client associates, not ours .
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are good, like the Wi-Fi labs and the facilities are quite good. Overall, the facilities provided are good and the environment of the faculty members is good. Everything is good except the placement part and placement is the main.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are good and the pass percentage of our semester exams is approximately 33 percent .

I am satisfied with our college.
Placements: Students should score a good CGPA, to get selected for good placements and internships. Top companies like Nestle and Amazon visit our college every year to recruit students. Our college provides internship opportunities for students within the campus. Students must submit their CVs and should attend an interview during the semester break.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent and clean. Our college provides us with all facilities. The food served in the canteen is good and hygienic. There is a stationery shop outside our college. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Our college has a library.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. They provide useful material, PDFs, and notes which are helpful for exams. If you are not attempting classes, then our college doesn't give attendance. Around 75% of attendance is mandatory for every subject. They are helpful and make it easier to pass your exams. The syllabus is not sufficient. According to the competition level, it is limited.
Other: Our college organises events, shootings, and programs every week or twice a month. Fests and parties are held in a central library.

I am not satisfied, but the college life I had was amazing.
Placements: The placement in my course was almost zero. The highest package offered was 4 LPA, and the average was 2 LPA. Apollo and Nestle were among the recruiters. About 60% of students got internships at Sharda Hospital and Nestle. Most students pursued roles as nutritionists. Sharda University was known for fun and other activities, but being a private university, students had to work hard for their success.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities were top-notch, with everything available except for course-related books in the library. I preferred not to stay in Sharda's hostel because the food quality was very bad. However, for those who wanted to enjoy college life, staying in the hostel was an option.
Faculty: Teachers in my course were knowledgeable, but they mainly focused on assignments and other tasks rather than teaching. However, some faculty members were very helpful and friendly. The course curriculum was relevant, but students had to learn and work on their own. It was not difficult to pass the exams, but some faculty members were biased and sometimes gave marks based on the relationship students built with them. The pass percentage was 38%.
Other: I chose this course because I found it fascinating and believed in prevention. In those times, it was necessary to learn additional skills or it would have been difficult to survive. The events were few, and the university organized a fest once a year which was good. The crowd was energetic, but the campus surroundings were not safe for girls. Scholarships were available, and extracurricular activities were helpful and regularly organized.

Absolutely satisfied by the faculty and college administration .
Placements: Nutritionist, 10 -15 percent got the placement, package varies based on different companies or hospital, internship was completed from certain reputed companies but of no use, the highest package can reach upto 13 LPA and the lowest can be about 3-5lpa diet specials .
Infrastructure: We had different labs but teachers does not teach properly lab is not given much importance in the college although it is very important, hostel is very expensive but provides basic facilities like two times food with snacks and breakfast but no laundary .
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not pretty helpful teaching quality varies based on different teachers some prefer teaching and some timepass semester exams are not difficult they are pretty easy no I don't think it makes students industry ready they need more exposure.

Q:   How many students can do B.Sc at SAHS Sharda University?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Determining the precise number of students admitted to the B.Sc. programme at Sharda School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) can be difficult for several reasons:

  1. Limited Open Information: Sharda University's website doesn't readily display specific intake figures for individual programs like B.Sc. programs within SAHS. This might be due to confidentiality practices or not being prioritized information for recruitment.
  2. Multiple Specializations: SAHS offers various B.Sc. specializations within areas like Medical Imaging Technology,  Nutrition and Dietetics,  Cardiovascular Technology,  and more. The student intake can vary for each specialisation due to differing programme popularity and faculty resources.
  3. Year-to-Year Fluctuations: Intake numbers can fluctuate annually based on factors like application volume,  program adjustments,  and university expansion plans.

However, we can gather some clues about the B.Sc. intake at SAHS:

  • Total Student Body: Sharda University houses a large student population exceeding 20,000 across various programs. SAHS likely contributes a significant portion to this.
  • Class Size Indicators: Anecdotal evidence suggests moderate class sizes for B.Sc. programs within SAHS,  potentially ranging from 30-50 students per specialization.
  • Faculty-Student Ratio: SAHS boasts a decent faculty-student ratio,  suggesting personalized attention despite potentially larger intake numbers.

Estimating the Intake:

While a definitive figure remains elusive, considering the available clues and comparing with similar programs in India, we can estimate the total B.Sc. intake at SAHS to be somewhere in the range of 200-500 students per year, distributed across various specializations.
