B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Techniques (Radiology/CT/MRI) - Batch of 2025
4.0
Sharda University: The world is here, where are you?
Placements: Placements provided in this University are really good. MBA students get a 100% placements rate followed by B.Tech students getting 90% placements and then B.Sc. course with 88% placements rate. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Max hospital and Apollo hospital are the top recruiters. Other than these, many multinational companies are also involved.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and contains all sorts of accommodation. The campus is very big. Talking about the hostel, the mess food is not up to the mark but Wi-Fi and electricity is always available. There is no problem with the internet in the rooms here. But the hostel wardens are very rude. Medical facility is available 24 hours at Sharda Hospital.
Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful. They help in every possible way they can. The questions asked in the examinations are pre discussed in the classrooms. No questions come from outside the syllabus. In each year, there are 2 examinations, one is the mid term exam and other is the end term exam. The midterm exam consists of 50 marks while the end term exam is of 100 marks.
Other: B.Sc. in radiology and imaging technology is a very bright course, since the doctors need to know about the problem before surgery. The faculty here is good and will help you understand the subjects in a language you are comfortable in. The campus is very big with all the facilities available. There are hostels for both male and female students.

A good atmosphere to learn and grow.
Placements: In my limited knowledge, some seniors were placed, and those even came from teachers personal references. There were no efforts made, and no hospital was called. So placements are bad. Teachers help, but no official help is given; therefore, the placements are bad.
Infrastructure: College buildings are well conditioned, but hostels are not good or even affordable. Out Campus hostels are much better and more affordable (more facilities at a low cost). The hostel provides mattresses. It is overpriced, and the washroom service and food quality are not even good.
Faculty: The curriculum is fantastic, and it will cover everything that is required. Faculty members are fine with knowledge regarding and limited to the syllabus and exams on the taught topic. Teachers are fine and help you when needed. It makes you partially hospital-ready, and exams are fine if you study what is taught in class.
Other: The fee is quite expensive, as is usual for a private college, but the campus is good for staying engaged.

B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Techniques (Radiology/CT/MRI) - Batch of 2022
4.2
Our college gives good infrastructure, helpful faculty and good campus life.
Placements: The radiology department does not get campus placement. This course comes with additional 6 months of internship which you can do from Sharda hospital because of this you get experience which makes it easier to get placement outside on your own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top with air-conditioned classrooms, free Wi-Fi, a departmental library, and hostel facilities with great food.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful with all your assignments and work. Semester consists of two exams, a mid-term examination, and an end-term exam. The level exam is not very hard if you have been attentive in the class.
Other: I did not have a plan when I started this course but with every passing time, my faculty helped me see things clearly and I got certain that I want to be a radiographer. The campus life is amazing. The best thing about it is they have their hospital because of which you could practice on equipment with live patients.

Sharda University - A scam.
Placements: There were around 65 students in my class. We were not placed anywhere through college. We had to look for the jobs ourselves. We did our internship in Sharda Hospital. We also had the option to intern in other hospital, 2-3 students opted for that. The internship was unpaid.
Infrastructure: Although the Wi-Fi was available, it didn't work. They took us to labs only 2-3 times during our first year. The classrooms were okay, library was good. The hostel rooms were okay according to my friends, the food in the canteen was expensive, there is a hospital in the campus so the medical facilities were fine, in sports arena, the college did just fine.
Faculty: The teachers were less than interested to provide us anything. There was only a single teacher who was absolutely dedicated and passionate, the rest were just there to fill the void. The course was confusing sometimes but we somehow managed and I did score a good CGPA but with my own efforts. The first semester was online and had glitches, so it was quite difficult, the rest of the semesters were smooth sailing in general and I scored the highest in my last semester.
Other: I chose this course because I had no option perhaps because I was looking for a good medical course after I tanked my NEET exam. The course will definitely improve if they just replaced the teachers to be honest. I didn't have much of a campus life. All I did was studying and then taking the university bus back to home. It was happening for other people, for me not so much.

If you maintain good marks, you'll definitely get placed.
Placements: As this is a paramedical course, noticing the trend of placement is important. Everyone appears for the government exams, but only 1-2 students manage to clear them. The rest get placed in private hospitals like Fortis, Max, and Apollo. Some apply for a Master's degree too, and a few decide to open their own diagnostic clinics.
Infrastructure: The course and facilities are quite okay too. We have lab classes every week for the respective subjects. Twice or thrice a week, we have clinical postings where we go into the X-ray or CT room in Sharda Hospital to learn and practice X-rays. The hostel food is average.
Faculty: The faculty is interactive, and attendance is mandatory here. A 75 percent attendance criteria is strictly followed. The mid-semester examinations and end-semester examinations are taken very seriously, and practicals are conducted before theoretical subjects.
Other: The campus life at Sharda is very fun. I love the crowd and my friends there, and Sharda is never boring. Apart from studies, we have fests going on, and our annual fest CHORUS is the best! Those three days are magical for students who were not able to crack NEET like me but still wanted to remain in the medical field. Paramedical courses are perfect for them, as we can do jobs or start our own business with this course.
