It is value for money, and faculty members are good. Placements are below average.

Placements: Our seniors got placed in the year 2021, and 12 students got placed in HCL. I think the highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. HCL, TCS and Wipro are the major recruiters. Students have to find internships on their own. Placements are good for the CSE branch.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good enough since it is the new academic building started in 2021. Academic, hostels and campus infrastructure are overall good. Wi-Fi speed is average. Labs are well-maintained, and everything is new. Since this new building started in 2021, everything is new, like labs, computers, machines, etc. The library is quite good with air-conditioners and Wi-Fi, and both are working well. Hostel rooms are good, but you have to compromise with mess food. Mess food is only for living, and it isn't healthy enough. Currently, there is no medical facility, but soon they make it. Sports like volleyball, table tennis, cricket and indoor games are available here.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive enough, and all the faculty members are well-educated. Some of our professors were BPSC qualified. Mainly teaching is in the Hindi language so that you can understand everything well. The course curriculum followed is given by Aryabhatta Knowledge University. Semester exams are average, and if you study, you can easily score 8 CGPA. The syllabus does make everyone industry-ready.

Other: The best thing is you can do engineering for only Rs. 40,000 for four years. Currently, there is no fest culture, but events are happening from time to time.

Review of Shershah Engineering College.

Placements: It is a new-made Bihar government engineering college, and Bihar engineering doesn't provide placements. If you are taking admission in Bihar engineering college, then you have to think about government jobs more than placements. The 1st batch would pass out in 2021, so till now, there are no placements.

Infrastructure: As it is a new-made college, hostel and campus are awesome. Labs are good, and lots of things are available. Many things are about to come. There is a rich library with a sufficient amount of books which are useful for study purpose. Till now, Wi-Fi is only available in the library area, but soon it would be available in the hostel. Food provided by the mess is awesome, and you can eat if you have any hostel experience in the past. Sports facilities are not available now because the college does not have a playground now.

Faculty: Every teacher is very helpful and well qualified. In Bihar engineering colleges, professors join through BPSC. Everyone's teaching quality is awesome. Very few teachers work as in a government job, but this is a very small issue in Bihar. Every teacher is very humble and helpful with no ego issue. I don't like math, but after coming here and learn maths from teachers, I started to like maths.

Other: I am a student of this college in the CSE branch of 1st year. I am interested in digital gaming, so I have chosen the CSE branch, and through this, I can make games. I have a lot of time to play online games like battle royale and other sports. Our college is not like IIT or NIT. It is an undeveloped Bihar engineering college that is developing, and it can't be compared with IIT or NIT. Placements are very low, so students also have to search on their own. If you are taking admission in private engineering colleges, then this government engineering college is the best option.
