It is an average college. If one wants a degree, they can go to this college.
Placements: Placements are generally provided to the highest scorers in their college, like 1 to 5 students. The average salary package they would offer is around 2 LPA to 3 LPA. There are no recruiting companies, just factories, and small industries that are offered us a job. None got the internship, just everyone has to sort their things out on their own. The top roles offered are operations manager, supervisor, accountant, and manager.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students. It is only for teachers. Air-conditioned classes are there. There are two air conditioners in each class, but only one will work. They won't let us visit the computer lab to do some practical study. A library is there with old books that students donated when they passed out. One can issue to study through their semester for collateral of DMC after returning, which can be collected. It is a general college. There is no hostel or mess. Sports facilities are not good. A cricket tournament was held a week ago. They told us to bring all the equipment on our own. Each team brings their own ball box at their expense, their own bats, and wickets, because they gave disastrous land to play cricket on with torned MAT to play on. A canteen is there, where most of the college crowd would be be found. No medical facilities are provided. If something happens in college, one has to call a doctor or aid box from outside. Two of three games are played, which are also non-cooperative from the staff. No equipment is available at the college. You jhave to bring your own and submit it to the sports room.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average, so there is no practical application for what they teach. Teachers are biased. There is no relevance to the studies and knowledge that they give. Sometimes we have to correct them, find solutions, and give them knowledge. They are still living in the past. The curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40%. Semester exams are average, but the questions are somewhat different on the final exams.
Other: I chose this course to get industry ready, acquire business basics and learn practical administration. But in reality, I have found two or three subjects that are relevant in real life, which have also been covered up by us, like direct tax laws and GST. Practical knowledge, application, industry-ready knowledge, and well-informed subjects relevant in today's time. A marketing fest is organised but they charge Rs. 1500 as registration and outsiders aren't allowed, so you can imagine how much sales can be achieved. Out of 700 to 800 students, 100 to 200 students maximum arrive. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students. The maximum amount is Rs. 20,000.
