Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2023

Average infrastructure and teaching staff for BBA.
Placements: We didn't have placements. The most disappointing aspect was the placement scenario, which received a 1-star rating. A very small percentage of students secured placements. The average package offered was quite low compared to industry standards. There were limited opportunities for internships, and few reputed companies came for campus recruitment. Students mostly had to seek roles independently without significant college support. Overall, while the college provided a basic academic foundation, major improvements were needed in infrastructure and especially in placement assistance to meet students' career expectations.
Infrastructure: Below average classroom for our batch. When it comes to infrastructure and hostel facilities, the experience was below average, as reflected in the 2-star rating. Although basic amenities such as Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library were available. They lacked consistency in quality and maintenance. Lab facilities were functional but often outdated. Hostel life was manageable. But the mess food was subpar and medical or sports facilities were minimal or poorly maintained. More attention was needed to create a comfortable, holistic campus environment.
Faculty: Teachers and staff were supportive and good. The academic experience at the college was decent, with the faculty and curriculum earning a 3-star rating. Teachers were generally supportive and possessed adequate subject knowledge. However, there were gaps in how engaging or industry-relevant the course content was. While the syllabus covered the basics well, there was room for improvement in terms of interacting practical, job-ready skills that today's industries demand. Exams were moderately difficult, and the pass percentage was satisfactory, though more guidance and modern teaching methods could enhance the learning experience.
Other: I had gone for direct admission without any reference.

Don't make the same mistake.
Placements: There are no placements so students did not get placed. There are no packages. Students did not get internships because the college didn't provide any. If a person completes this course, they can get a placement as a software developer or engineer.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. We have a lab. There are classrooms and libraries. The college facilities are bad. There are no sports or medical facilities. A ground is not available. There are no games. Toilets are provided. There is very bad infrastructure and bad connectivity. Faculty members do not care.
Faculty: Some faculty members were good but left the college. The course is relevant but the college doesn't make us industry-ready. The passing percentage is 35%. It is not that difficult. Many pass without studying. It is affiliated to Bangalore University, so exams are common.
Other: I thought I could because a software developer with this course that's why I chose it, but the college I chose is the biggest mistake of my life it is really bad. There should be better infrastructure. There are no events and fests. The campus crowd is all from outside and non-local. The campus is literally a building. There are no surroundings, scholarships, or extracurricular activities.

The college is quite good because of its faculty members and the events or programmes.
Placements: In our college, students can pursue advanced courses such as BBA in Aviation and Hospitality Management and BBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. However, the college does not provide any placement assistance, so students are responsible for finding jobs on their own. Most students secure placements at Bangalore International Airport, with many working for Air India Seats.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good, with no major issues. The college uses modern teaching techniques, such as projectors and LED screens, to educate students. It also has well-equipped classrooms and a library. Additionally, the college provides hostel facilities for students. However, the quality of food in the hostel and canteen is not very good. There are no proper medical or sports facilities on campus due to a lack of space.
Faculty: Faculty members in this college are good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The relationship between professors and students is very strong. The college has well-qualified lecturers who effectively teach students and help them improve their skills.
Other: Actually, I wanted to join aviation, and this college offers a specialized BBA course in aviation and hospitality, so I chose this college. It also has relatively lower fees compared to other colleges. The college provides more practical knowledge to students, helping them improve their understanding of the course.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2024

Decent Infrastructure and Faculty, but Limited Extracurricular Activities and Campus Facilities.
Placements: In my college, the BCA program at 'Shree Devi' has a placement rate of around 60%, with salary packages ranging from INR 2 LPA to INR 6 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, and HCL, offering roles like Software Developer and Data Analyst. Students also secure internships at companies like Diya Systems and Cognizant.
Infrastructure: My college provides basic facilities for BCA students, including an average computer lab with Wi-Fi restricted to academic use and smart classrooms. Smartphones are not allowed during classes. There is a library available for students. Hostel facilities are average, and the quality of food in the mess is often considered poor. Medical facilities are minimal, and there are no sports or games activities available for students.
Faculty: The teachers in the BCA section are average, and while they provide basic guidance, they may not be exceptionally talented or knowledgeable. The BCA curriculum is relevant to industry standards, including subjects like Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security, making it useful for preparing students for IT careers. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on understanding the core concepts, and the minimum pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the BCA course with the intention of working abroad, but I'm starting to feel that studying here may not fully help me achieve that goal. One of the best things about the course is that it keeps us updated with emerging technologies, especially in areas like AI and data analytics. However, while there are some events, the campus doesn't offer much for BCA students specifically, like a sports ground or extracurricular activities. It would be great if there were more opportunities to engage outside of academics. Additionally, I think there could be more scholarship opportunities to support students.

Really good facilities.
Placements: About 60 to 75% of students were placed in my course. There was no package offered in my course. There are a few companies like AJ Hospital recruiting for my course. About 75 to 90% of students got internships from my course in companies like AJ, Wenlock, etc. MPT students get top roles in my course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice, and the Wi-Fi connection is also good. The labs are also good. The library is not that good but average, not that bad. The facilities in the hostel are not that good but average. The quality of food in the hostel is below average, but the canteen food is good. The medical facilities in our college are very good, and sports activities are great. There are tournament sports events, and many games with a variety of games are conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are very nice and very talented. The teachers are very helpful in studies. They are very qualified and knowledgeable. They have great teaching qualities. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready for sure. The semester exams are a little tough and hard to pass for some subjects. The pass percentage is around 65 to 85%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a doctor in my life. I wish the management of this course would change some rules in the college. Some rules are unnecessary, and students will hate the management for that. The events, fests, and campus crowd are great. You will get so many friends. The campus surroundings are beautiful. There are extracurricular activities like sports, arts, and more in the campus.

Good faculty and good facilities.
Placements: 40% of students get placed in this course. The fee structure is 3 LPA for 3 years. The top role offered in this course is professional programmer. If we study this course, we can become programmers in the future. This is the best chance to become high-salary employees.
Infrastructure: College hostels are good. The college facilities are very good. The canteen is also nice. There are different sports items. There are many Wi-Fi systems and very large labs in our college, which help us study a lot. Classrooms are also high-tech.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful. Their teaching knowledge is good. In this college, the semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 50%. If we study properly, we can pass the exams easily. Teachers support us very much.
