It has strong academics and good infrastructure. Placements vary by department.

Placements: 78% of students get placed in the electronics and communication course. The minimum starting package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered in our course is 12 LPA. Accenture, Intel, and IBM are the top recruiting companies for our course. 40% of students got internships from our course in companies like Intel and Dell. Design engineer is the top role offered in our course.

Facilities and study environment are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. All my seniors are placed in good companies with good packages. Overall, almost all students are placed. It depends on our hard work, though. Companies come to all the branches and conduct interviews, so it's a good college.

Good infrastructure and green campus, but not satisfied with teachers, administration, and syllabus.

Placements: Around 30% of students are getting placed but it's still the start of our final year so we are expecting more to go. The highest package for now is 11.5 LPA, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average is around 8 LPA. London Stock Exchange is the top recruiter. 70% of the students got their internships through referrals and the selection process. SDE , backend engineer, GET, etc. are the top roles offered.

The college is great, which makes students learn practically.

Placements: 99.65% of students are placed in the past year. The highest package offered is 32 LPA in the last year from our college. The lowest package is 3 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Bosch, Dell, Amazon, and Mercedes-Benz. Approximately 50% of students secured internships in Bosch, Marco Polo, Infosys, Google and many more companies. The top roles offered are software engineer, backend engineer, and design engineer.

A fantastic experience at SDM College

Placements: The placement percentage at our college is strong, around 60-70%. The highest package goes over 40 LPA, with the lowest at 3 LPA. Many companies, including DELL, Walmart, and TCS, visit the campus, providing high internship placement rates.

Placements: The placements are good and about 70% of students were placed. The highest package was 10 LPA. The lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, and Bosch. About 50% of secured internships. The top roles are design engineering and Embedded systems engineer are common.

Yes, to get into its B.E./B.Tech course, SDM College of Engineering and Technology in Dharwad does not demand a score in KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) as a matter of first choice among candidates who have to apply under government quota.
