I'm absolutely satisfied because of infrastructure and facilities and great placements in 2019.

Placements: I am doing B.Sc here, and I have more than 65% aggregate in HSC. The minimum academic percentage required to take admission in B.Sc at Shivaji College is 59% last year. You will get good jobs in campus placements if you have calibre. In the previous year, our seniors got a salary package of 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package of 1 LPA, which was offered by AD Electronics. I am not sure about the internships, but mostly 50% of the students get internships as a head electrician in the companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and historical, and the entire campus is enabled with a great Wi-Fi facility with a speed of 1 Gbps, which is open always. Labs of every department are very advanced with all the facilities and all the equipment. Even in the classrooms, all the amazing lectures are conducted as they have high digital boards and good sitting arrangements. The most important thing is that the library named Shri Rajshri Shahu Maharaj has almost all the books related to our course and also has many books which are available on the website of our college. Another important thing is an auditorium, which is highly air-conditioned and has all the facilities and comfortable where interesting seminars are conducted. The hostel is quite good. The mess is also good where there is a fixed time to serve all meals like breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our college has its own clinic for some small issues if anything happens. There is a total of 3 canteens in our college as per departments. All three branches, i.e., science arts and commerce, have separate canteens. Our college has a huge sports hall with all 34 games, including swimming. A huge event of sports day was organised once in our college.

Faculty: Staff members here are very qualified and very capable. Specifically, they all have a PhD in their subjects and have separate doubt session after lectures. The teaching is highly digital-oriented, and teachers provide special notes for every chapter. Students who passed out of our college are in very respected places and doing very good jobs in their life.

Other: I am studying B.Sc with physics, mathematics and electronics, and I have chosen this course because I like maths and physics. Moreover, I want to know more about those subjects, and the reason for me to choose electronics is I have an interest in electronics also. In our college, every month one event is organised, and all Indian festivals are celebrated. The entire campus is crowded all the time. Our college has an intake capacity of altogether 10,000 students from all years and branches. A huge Shivaji park is located just a side of our college where we can visit to have refreshment. All the government scholarships are provided in our college if students apply for it. After every semester, our college organises a seminar in which every student has to participate.

It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The highest salary offered ranges between Rs. 80,000-90,000 per month. The lowest salary offered ranges between Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month. One student is working at Yahoo.

Infrastructure: The college provides about 25 Wi-Fi routers, huge library, 3 sections for each class and high tech labs for students. The college provides good facilities for students.

Faculty: Teaching quality is the best. They have 20 years of experience. They are helpful for solving doubts 24x7. They are highly qualified. Some of them are PhD holders, and some also did M.Sc. They are friendly with the students.

Other: You can choose PCM with CS optional on the basis of teaching quality. The college conducts many extracurricular activities, which is helpful for poor students.
