Honest college review by me.

Placements: Around 10 to 20 percent of students are placed in college. There is no specific information about the average, lowest or highest package. Infosys, TCS, etc. are the top recruiters. Shivaji Science College does not provide any internships to other students; the college is best for teachers who are best in other core subjects.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good but they are not digital; the college does not provide Wi-Fi to students; the library is good; and there are so many books available. The hostel is provided, but mess and canteen service is not available. Sports and games are frequently conducted at the college and university levels.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, knowledgeable, and have good teaching skills. The course is good, students need to develop skills, and college does not make students industry-ready. The semester exams are strict, and 60 percent is the passing percentage of students.

Other: I want to start preparations for the competitive exam; for that, I chose B.Sc. as my graduation course. I think the university needs to improve the syllabus of B.Sc. events. Fests are frequently arranged in the college auditorium, and scholarships are provided to students .

Our College is best to attract students’ attention and is known for its academic excellence.

Placements: Placements are improving each year thanks to our college's placement cell. The placement scenario is getting better, with many companies offering good packages this year. In 2023, the highest package reached 14 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. Many students secured jobs at their dream companies, and 60% of students got placed during the summer placement drive.

Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure, and students are very satisfied with it. The buildings are well-constructed, and we have a central library with a vast collection of books on various topics. There are also dedicated rooms for sports and cultural activities like dance and music for events. The college provides bus facilities for both students and faculty to ensure timely arrival.

Faculty: The faculty consists of highly experienced members who not only have expertise in their fields but also possess real-world industry knowledge. Most of the faculty in my department are Ph.D. holders. They are approachable and encourage students to participate in hackathons and other extracurricular activities.

Overall, college is the best and placements statics are also strong.

Placements: We have a placement cell, and they tried their best to provide training and good opportunities. The average package is around 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is around 11.5 LPA. About 150 students participated in the campus placement drive, and around 120 students got placed. Placements might depend on your respective branches.

Infrastructure: Our college operates under the Shri Shivaji Science Community. It has the best infrastructure facilities among all the colleges. There are two messes and a big library for students and staff. It has centralized AC and clean classrooms. We have hostels, and hostel life is good. The only thing that needs improvement is mess.

Faculty: The faculty in our college is amazing; they tried their best to never feel bored with them. They also help you socially and academically. All the teachers and non-teaching members are very supportive here. Their teaching style is also good. College exams are taken by the university in April and September. Papers are 60 marks, and passing marks are a minimum of 30 marks.

Overall, experience of my two year at Shivaji Science college were excellent.

Placements: Placements in our college is decent; not every students get placed in campus placement drive. Around 60% students got placed it is totally depend one on skills. The highest package is 12 LPA and average package is 5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cipla, etc. Visit our college in summer placement drive.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is also good and in the main building there are classrooms, library, labs, auditorium, sports room, etc. Classrooms have both digital board and projector facilities to enhance study of students. We have hostel, which is good in terms of everything. food quality in hostel is good and in hostel, medical facilities is available in case of an emergency.

Faculty: Your college faculty are extremely talented, and they have practical knowledge as well. In labs, we have all instruments, and faculty take the practical classes very seriously; they never skip any practical lab period. Professors are very kind and easy to approach. Exams were conducted in the summer and winter sessions by RTMU University.

Overall, the college is excellent.

Placements: The higher cutoff is 75 to 80% in our college. The packages are really good, ranging from 3.5 to 4 LPA. Most of the reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, TATA, etc., take students for internships with very good stipends. The roles offered are software engineer, project engineer, software developer, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It has clean and systematic classrooms, well-furnished hostels, and a huge ground for sports activities. The computer labs are very good with good seating arrangements. The library is a comfortable place where all types of books are available.

Faculty: All the faculty are really good. If students want their help, they provide very good help. They are well-qualified with M.Sc., MCA, Ph.D. etc. The exams are also very good. Curricular activities are interesting and can make students happy.

Other: The best thing about the course is the job opportunities in this field. You can clear all the semester exams in one go if you are interested in your course. The scholarship process is very good. The surroundings are positive, peaceful and attractive.
