Disciplined, supportive college with helpful staff and positive learning.

Placements: 90+ students get placed. The lowest package is 5 LPA, and the highest is 10 LPA. In Virology at IIT Mumbai, 7+ students work as microbiologists. There are various roles such as lecturers, research teaching professionals, research fieldwork assistants, and teaching professionals. We can also pursue doctoral degrees and become high-profile teachers at the college level or lecturers at the university level.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are well-equipped. Food is top-rated in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games happen every year, with every student taking part. The respective departments and the HODs are supportive and very helpful by nature. They are indeed a blessing.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is relevant and makes MS students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The passing percentage is 35%. If students get below that, they have to give a back paper. The college does not support any kind of cheating materials or cheats.

Other: Being in microbiology and virus research is the best thing for future settlement..

Really good college in Amravati.

Placements: The placements here are not as expected. The college expects you to reach out to companies yourself and get placed. In a few cases, the college invites companies, but those are not reputed companies. However, the college is trying to create a placement cell. Almost 88% of students were placed by the college.

Infrastructure: It is quite good; there are all the facilities that a student needs, like good benches, projectors, AC in a few classrooms, and fans in every class. However, there is no Wi-Fi available for all students; it is only available in the IT lab. There is a library and labs for science projects.

Faculty: The best thing about the college is the faculty. There are faculty members who speak almost all the languages, including South languages. They are very friendly and help in every situation. The exams are conducted semester-wise, and we have to undergo one year of internship. The course is very helpful for the future.

College has excellent teaching faculty and it has best infrastructure also.

Placements: college offers placements in the final year. Last year, the highest package from our college is 15 lacs, and average package is 6 Lacs. We have a placement cell that focuses mainly on training students to get placement-ready. About 80% students secure placements in campus hiring process. The top roles offered are networking, computer systems, web design, software development, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college is the best in terms of infrastructure and the college buildings are also in very good condition. The college auditorium is in very good condition and the college provides well-equipped labs for performing the practical. For sports, there is one field, and the college also conducts gatherings there. Our college also provides hostel facilities, and hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi facilities, study table and all other essential things.

Faculty: The college faculty are very nice and polite in nature, and they are very helpful as well. Some of the faculty are a little bit bad in their way of teaching but the majority are great here. Our college faculty provide important questions, and exams are conducted according to university policy. It is quite challenging to pass the exams.

College placements are nice, and the infrastructure is good, in my opinion.

Placements: In our college, students start placement preparation in their 2nd year and become eligible for placements in their 3rd year. The average package is low; it is around 3-5 LPA, and most of the students are applying for M.Sc. because of the low package. Last year, more than 150 companies came to campus for placements, like Wipro, IBM, TCS, Capgemini, etc.

Infrastructure: The college building is quite old, but it is still beautiful and so big. The college has well-maintained labs, and they provide internet facilities as well. The college library is big, and many students prefer the college library for study reference. Our college hostel facilities are just amazing. They provide almost all the facilities to students, and the food quality in the mess is also good. In summer, they provide lemon juice and mango juice with lunch.

Faculty: The faculty at Shivaji Science College is nice, and almost every faculty member is supportive. They are all well-experienced and know their particular subjects very well. College faculty give us some questions as PYQs for practice. Exams are conducted by RTMNU University, and they allot the centers for the end-of-semester exams. In college, they only conduct a monthly exam as an even or odd exam.

Shivaji Science is an excellent college for a B.Sc. with the best faculty members and good exposure.

Placements: Our college has an active training and placement cell. Last year, our college organized a campus drive for final-year students and provided 75% of internship opportunities. Packages are not clear; many students get average packages of 20,000 a month; there are also some who get 50,000 jobs. Package and job depend on the student's skills. Colleges offer many courses and classes for skill enhancement, and exposure in our college is good.

Infrastructure: The college is a big common building for all courses; classrooms are big, and all are equipped with projectors and digital boards. The college also has a common room for seminars and guest lectures. The campus is big, with strong free Wi-Fi and a big library for all students. The college has a hostel outside the campus and has provided private hostels to students and bus service. Hostels are good; they are good compared to renting rooms in Nagpur, and the food is good.

Faculty: There are only 60 students in a single batch in each department, and faculty members are good in number. Each subject has two or three teachers, and all are qualified. Our college is famous for its strict academics and exams, but all teachers are mostly helpful and supportive; they never stop students from having fun and enjoying themselves. The course syllabus is difficult, and exams are strict. It is difficult to pass exams without studying.
