Review of Silver Oak Institute of Science (SOIS).

Placements: Students can take admission to this college as there is no cutoff. The lowest package in this college is 2 LPA. The highest package is 10 LPA. 70% of students get internships from this college. Many companies visit the college to hire students.

Infrastructure: There are very neat and clean labs. All the equipment is available in the lab. Hostel facilities are available 24 hours. It also has very good medical facilities. The food provided by the hostel is okay. It provides free Wi-Fi for 24 hours.

Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and well-qualified. Their behavior is so good. They are so friendly with students and they teach so well. Teachers make students ready for industry by visiting them. There are three exams in 1st semester. They are not so hard.

Other: I chose this course because there are many career opportunities in it. Our prime minister also has talked about this course. The college organises many events. It celebrates every function.

This college is very good.

Placements: 30% of students are placed with the help of the college, but most got internships or jobs on their own. The salary package for freshers is 10-20k, depending on your knowledge. However, when you crack competitive exams, you definitely get a good package, and there are many fields to choose from based on your interests.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on our campus. The labs are very good and fully air-conditioned, while classrooms do not have AC. The library is also good and fully air-conditioned. When we talk about hostel facilities, the college hostel is average—not good but not bad. The same goes for the food. In terms of sports, they have tournaments all the time, and you can participate in those along with your studies.

Faculty: Teachers are very good and helpful, and they also provide proper notes for studies. The teaching quality is very good, and this course prepares students to be industry-ready. We have additional subjects like communication skills and business communication. Semester exams are difficult for those who do not study; otherwise, you can get good marks by studying, and the pass percentage is 45-50%.

Other: I want to become a food safety officer, so I chose this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department and hostel is good. The hostel fee is 3.24 LPA.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and helpful to students. They help students to understand the topics easily. Exams are conducted strictly. They teach both theory and practicals very well. The minimum pass percentage is 55%.

Other: The courses offered in our college are not hard. The fee for a biotechnology course is Rs.1,39,500 and for microbiology is Rs.1,24,500.

I am not satisfied with teachers and management.

Infrastructure: Our college provides average infrastructure. Projectors are available in classrooms. We do not teach well because of the poor quality of the projection and audio. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. Benches are very rough and rusted. The library has excellent facilities for reading. There are fewer books regarding our course.

Faculty: The teaching quality is not good. Some teachers do well in their jobs. Our teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful, while some teachers are the opposite. Every semester, good teachers are replaced, and new teachers come. They are sometimes not interactive or not up to expectations.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in biotechnology. The best thing about our course is that, in the future, it will be in greater demand than it is currently. The best campus should be constructed rather than building apartments and canteens. Laboratory work should be done more precisely and completed on time. There are very few events conducted in limited fields. Extracurricular activities should be increased.

Our college has good facilities, such as a computer lab, a canteen, etc.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA to 1.25 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA to 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Lamba, TCS, etc., visit our campus. Internships are not provided. The top role offered is a lab technician.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. The campus has no lush greenery. A playground is not available.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and qualified. The course content offered if you want to do an M.Sc. in India is good. If you are looking to go aboard, you may lack some knowledge, as some information is irrelevant to abroad standards.

Other: Tournaments are going on regularly.
