Review of Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements at this college were not good. Only 20-30% of students got placed. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. No one got internships in the pre-final year. The top role offered was associate system engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good. Wi-Fi and transport facilities were the best. For every region, separate transport facility was available. There is no proper playground for the sports. Students had very less complaints about the hostel and mess facility.
Faculty: Academic curriculum was better. Exams and the course lectures were organised properly. The only problem was with the placement scenario. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate as per the University law and regulation. I don't think that it did not make students industry-ready as it only gave theoretical knowledge.
