Really good infrastructure, facilities, and placement in 2025.
Placements: The top recruiting company for my course is Tata Consultancy Services. 70-75 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package offered in my course is 8 LPA-12 LPA, the average package offered in my course is 5 LPA-7 LPA, and the lowest package offered in my course is 1 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: My classroom is neat and clean and well-lit. There is a newly added smart board instead of a blackboard. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. My college organises sports every year at Rabindra Sarobar playground. There are so many books available in my college library.
Faculty: My teachers are very helpful, cooperative, qualified, and knowledgeable. The semester exams are very difficult to pass because the question paper is very tough and basically analytical. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: My course is B.Com (Hons). I chose this course because I like accounts and finance. When I read in the 1st year and 2nd year I got the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

I am not absolutely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Our college is one of the best colleges. Students who are admitted into this college must have 75% or above. The lowest package offered is 1.44 LPA. Companies like TCS, etc., hire students from our college. Students who want internships must score above 7 SGPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is better than that of any other government college. However, it does not have Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are not well-maintained, and only the outer side of our college building has been reconstructed. The library holds edition books, which are not according to our new education scheme 2022.
Faculty: Teachers are very ungrateful, except for 1 or 2 teachers, especially the HOD of the commerce department. If we have any queries regarding the notice, they just ignore us and ask us not to call them. Even though the college allowed inter-state students admission, they have to explain everything in English, but what they are actually doing is explaining everything in their native language (Bengali) even after students ask to speak in English.
Other: We did not even know anything about fests because our college is not able to do that for freshers.

I'm satisfied because of faculty, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: A minimum less than 60 percent of students got placed from our course. The highest package of our college is 7 LPA to 8 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS Wipro and Capgemini. Approximately 70 percent of students got internships from our course in TCS Wipro Capgemini and Tech Mahindra. Top roles offered in our course are investment banker cost accountant management consultant and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college offers a range of facilities and infrastructure to support its courses and departments including well equipped classrooms a library with departmental sections a canteen with quality food and sports facilities. Our college does not provide hostels.
Faculty: Our college is generally considered helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. In our college, teachers are friendly, willing to guide students, and have a deep understanding of their subjects. The B.Com curriculum in our college is generally considered relevant and helpful in preparing students for the industry. Semester exams in our college are generally considered to be moderately difficult. While faculty are helpful and the curriculum is considered too good by some students, the exams are designed to be challenging. The pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I want to become a CA in the future, that's why I chose this course. By pursuing this course, I can enhance my career opportunities, establish a strong Foundation for further studies, and develop valuable skills. B.Com (Hons) degree is a popular choice, but there's always room for improvement. Some areas that could be enhanced include a stronger emphasis on practical skills like data analysis and financial modelling, more industry-relevant certification, and better integration of emerging technologies like Fintech and AI. Our college actively organizes various events, including cultural programs and sports tournaments. The college provides government scholarships.

Sivanath Sastri College is one of the best colleges for commerce.
Placements: Studying in Sivanath is the best day of my life. It is the best place to get proper education. They try their best to provide support. They do not offer many placements, but they will surely give one or two opportunities. We get offers to connect with TCS, one of the top MNCs. Otherwise, some NGO companies will approach you in such cases.
Infrastructure: Sivanath Sastri College has a library for each department. For B.Com, college has two libraries one is the seminar library and the other is the main library, which is the central library. Classrooms are quite large, well-ventilated, and have a peaceful and neat environment. Canteen is situated behind the seminar library and quality of meals is good. Annual sports are organised by the college once a year and other types of clubs are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are helpful and friendly to each student. Semesters are difficult, but our teachers do their best. By pursuing this course, there are many opportunities like CMA, CA, CS, Audit, etc. Students can make their careers bright in the industry.
Other: Students can also apply for various scholarships such as Kanyashree, Swami Vivekananda, and NSP scholarships.

This is one of the best colleges for commerce and arts.
Placements: Sivnath Sastri College is one of the best colleges for commerce. The average salary package for the course is reasonable and can be offered to anyone. There are around 200 students in my class. Placements include top companies. Percentage of students who got internships is around 70%.
Infrastructure: There are good classrooms, a computer room, and a library. College offers free Wi-Fi. Quality and quantity of food in the canteen are very good. Library is peaceful and has a lot of books. College follows valid rules related to the library, and the staff is very nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are helpful and friendly to each student. Semesters are difficult, but our teachers did their best. By pursuing this course, there are many opportunities like CMA, CA, CS, Audit, etc. Students can make their careers bright in the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in finance. College also provides scholarships and celebrates organises all pooja ceremonies and we also play Holi on campus.

Good environment to cherish.
Placements: Studying in Sivanath is the best day of my life. It's the best place to get the proper education; they try their level best to give you support. They didn't offer such a placement but one or two opportunities they will surely give you. We get offers to connect with TCS, one of the top MNCs. Otherwise, some NGO company will come to you in such cases.
Infrastructure: Facilities like you will get a Wi-Fi connection, a proper environment to study, and rooms are neat and clean, like we can think. Additionally, you will have access to the library. Coming to the canteen part, you won't get many varieties but the food they provide is good. Also, you will find a game room. Medical facilities are easily available.
Faculty: The professors are really helpful. Definitely highly qualified and knowledgeable enough. They are very down to earth. You can connect with them 24*7. Semester exams are moderate, not too difficult, not so easy like they should be. Passing% is 40% at least.
Other: I would love to see if more extracurricular activities are included. And more fests and events should be done to remember and cherish college life more in the future.
