SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University selects candidates for UG courses based on entrance test scores. The university conducts a written to shortlist aspirants for BBA (Hons), BCom (Hons) and BA (Hons). The university also accepts SAT scores for admission to UG programmes.

SLS PDEU provides merit scholarship to UG students. Under the scholarship, students are offered half tuition fee waiver. Students can avail scholarship based on SLS admission test merit rank and subject to minimum 80% marks obtained in Class 12 exam. The same student would be eligible for scholarship based on his/ her SPI in succeeding semesters and also the student should not have any backlog or disciplinary actions taken on her/ him.
