Great infrastructure, amazing exposure, good facilities in the campus.
Placements: In my course, no placements were offered as such. My course is structured in a way that generally people who opt for it are exposed to a lot of subjects. So by the time we finished the course, we wanted to study our subjects in detail and almost half of my batch went for their masters.
Infrastructure: The mess served okay food but we have a really nice and big canteen. Hostels are really good especially for girls. PDEU holds a lot of good and necessary facilities in the campus itself like its own stationary, sports ground, computer labs and media labs.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant but I don’t think it is enough to make the students industry ready. The course can be made a little more detailed and practical experience can be added.
The teachers are really helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good.
Other: Its a really great platform for students to open up and really enjoy the campus life and network . The university’s international ties are amazing, you can really go for studies abroad. With all the different subjects, there’s a lot to learn and experience.

I personally feel, it is an average college.
Placements: It is sad to know that we aren't given any kind of placements in school of liberal studies. We are only given the degree of honours and Bachelors. Placements are only for engineering students. And maybe students who are perusing Masters. The salary offered is quite good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure structure is quite impressive. It is very huge and well maintained regularly. All the classrooms are centrally air conditioned and also labs are available. We also have a medical clinic in campus. Wi-Fi is available but does not work properly. We do have electricity issues sometimes. Library is well maintained.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. We can visit any faculty personally anytime we seek help or even visit their cabin anytime for the doubts. I personally don't like much of course structure. Some of the subjects are just not in use.
Other: The campus is beautifully decorated during the events. There are mainly 3 events happening every year in which different celebrities and Djs are called up. Many types of sports are also available. Campus is environmentally friendly and maintained regularly.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University will provide you with a lot of exposure like never before.
Placements: The university can offer you placements if you are interested. My batch did not opt for placements. Most of my batchmates went abroad for higher studies. Placements were available mostly for petroleum engineering students, engineering students, petroleum management students and PGDM students. Reputed companies such as ICICI Bank, HDFC bank, Total Oil and Shell Oil visited our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university was awesome. The college has an enormous cricket ground, and medical facilities are decent. The quality of the labs was pretty good and was well-equipped for performing experiments. The food served in the cafeteria was very good. They serve you variety of dishes on certain days and also sweets.
Faculty: Faculty members were very good, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was also very good. They use the interactive and participative method of teaching. Sometimes the college conducts guest lectures from Harvard University and Stanford University. They also hire faculty from other countries. The course curriculum provides you with exposure to many subjects that would help you to choose your specialisation in 5th semester.
Other: The college also organises events such as the Global Village where students from many countries would come and interact with the local people

Absolutely Satisfied with the college.
Placements: There is no particular placement for the liberal studies school because the combination of major and minor subject is vast and different for all the students. But the placement for the engineering stream in PDPU is very good and the college has it's own placement cell as well and the top MNC's come to the college for recruiting freshers.
Infrastructure: It's a very big campus full of greenery. Cleanliness is well maintained. The infrastructure is equipped with all the latest technology and the latest equipment required. Various different types of labs are there which helps students to gain practical knowledge along with the theoretical knowledge.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and upto date with knowledge be it theoretical or practical. They believe in taking interactive lectures rather than just one way lectures. There are frequent Industrial visits as well. The courses are designed with future perspective so that what we study today can be useful after 5 years when we go out and work.

PDPU gave good placements for petroleum engineers, and it also provides good facilities.
Placements: The college provides good placements after degree. College signed more than 400 MOU with reputed companies. The main point of having good placements is, you have to study hard. For placements, you have to get good scores and attendance.
Infrastructure: It is the college nearby Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad which has one of the best infrastructures. There are good facilities like gym, cricket ground, indoor games and football ground. The college also provides all facilities like transportation to students etc.
Faculty: All the faculty and staff are more relatively and good. All are from good education background like PhD. All the faculty members have different study skills and they mostly provide practical knowledge which can help in future.

PDPU, School of Liberal Studies (SLS).
Placements: School of Liberal Studies (SLS) claims to provide 100% placement to all the students of SLS. The companies that come during placement are Times Of India, Amul, Reliance, Aircel, Tata Motors, etc. Some of the students also go for exams like SBI PO and RBI exams and many of the students go for masters in foreign universities through various scholarships and fellowships. Also, the university provides some fellowship for the master programme to the toppers of School of Liberal Studies. The placement cell plays a role of a bridge which eliminates the gap between the corporate world and the students. The placement cell also organizes pre-placement talks, mock tests, mock interviews and also guest lectures being held on a regular basis, which are delivered by renowned speakers and lecturers. The placement cell also organizes various workshops.
Infrastructure: PDPU has 5 buildings and each building has its own library and separate labs. There is also a performing arts room where students practice their various talents. There are clean washrooms in each building on each floor. The toilets for ladies and gents are separate and are cleaned in every couple of hours. The college has high-speed connectivity with staff rooms for teachers and waiting rooms as well. The administration offices are also present in each building for clearing inquiry of students. The classrooms are quite big and can accommodate 90-150 students depending on the size of classrooms. Clean drinking water is present on each floor, electricity is present 24*7. There is an auditorium as well. A bank, grocery store, doctor are present full time on the campus. A food court is also there with the campus mess. Girls' hostel is inside the campus whereas boys' hostel is outside the campus. Big grounds are also there for fests, playing sports, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members in School Of Liberal studies are highly learned and their lectures are always interesting. They are very approachable, helpful and always encouraging and motivating the students. The course comprises of 7 subjects in each semester for 2 years, i.e. total of 28 subjects which would be common for everyone till 4 semesters. The subjects would be from various fields like psychology, science, basic maths, business communication, international relations, world classics, economics, theater, mass communication, finance, marketing, etc. In the last 2 years i.e. 3rd and 4th year, you will have to select your major and minors and you would be provided with a degree based on your major subject i.e either a BA or BBA degree. You will also be awarded with a diploma in liberal studies degree.
Other: The campus life is very good and the fests are always very enjoyable. The campus has lots of fun events going on and the students are very helpful and cooperative. Also, the campus is tobacco free and ragging is strictly prohibited. The college equips the students to develop their overall personality and intellectual skills. Also, special guidance is given to each child. Seminars are also held in the university for the students who want to study abroad. There are special coaching classes for the UPSC aspirants. The main idea behind SLS is to go beyond the conventional style of learning and education and inspire the kids to become more creative with their ideas and opinions.

Placements: There were job melas conducted by the college yearly. The companies that came were good but the profile they gave were not good and the package was also very low. Placements is one department where this college is lagging. Maybe the reason is because of the quality of crowd. But the college can do better in placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is satisfactory. Not better than other colleges in chandigarh like DAV or SD college or even MCM college. But it is satisfactory. It has one of the biggest canteens compared to other colleges. It has beenn winning the best garden competition from past many years and has adequate no of classes for people to fit in. It has a big ground with basketball, vollyball, tennis courts and a football ground. The college has been no 1 in sports since its inception.
Faculty: Faculty-
Faculty is very good. The minimum qualification a lecturer should have is Phd . Lecturers come well prepared and have years of experience in teaching. They serve as good mentors to the students and have immense knowledge about their subject. I have already graduated but i am still in contact with my teachers. They are more as friends than as teachers

I love the people and the environment of PDPU.
Placements: Most of the students don't take placement chances after bachelors degree, but those who wish to get placed in a company with good brand value will go into the placement process. But you can not expect a good package, but surely a decent package is offered for an undergraduate student. The placements are good in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best in this college. It is a two-floor building with the beautiful infrastructure with the clean, and green environment. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and decent seating arrangement is made. The classrooms are technologically well-built, and the Wi-Fi is everywhere on the campus. There is a decent library with two Kindles and all the necessary books. The hostel has both A/C rooms and single sharing rooms as well, they are quite good, and you love to stay in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly, helpful, and well-educated. All the faculty members are PhD holders in their course. They have decent and good communication skills. They will help you with their skills and the knowledge. There is a faculty advisor for every student, and you can share your problems with them.

You can definitely apply for the entrance exam as maximum students have not yet got their HSC results. The entrance exam result will be coming somewhere near to your board exams and then your admission will be confirmed.

Every semester your subjects are going to change so 27 subjects in total for the first two years overall and then you have to choose one subject as your major and one as your minor.

There is no option of BBA+ MBA integration after 12th board. It just offers a liberal studies and in 3rd year you have an option of choosing your major and minors according to your choice . The course is for 4 years.
