Candidates who wants to take admission in the English Medium Colleges will have to appear for English Language Content Test (ELCT) also. There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-B.Ed. CET Examination in the Academic Year 2023-2024. Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2023. Candidates (Maharashtra State Candidature) who have a post graduate degree with specialization in Science & Mathematics or Social Sciences (History/ Geography/ Economics/ Political Science/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Education/ Library) or Humanities: Language & Literature (Marathi/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrut/ Gujarathi/ Sindhi etc.) or Commerce with 50% marks for open category and 45% for reserved category belonging to Maharashtra are also eligible to apply OR Candidates (Maharashtra State Candidature) who have a post graduate degree with specialization Engineering & Technology (with Science & Mathematics as special subjects) or Management (with Science & Mathematics as special subjects) or Computer Science or Law or Information Technology or Agriculture or Bachelor of Banking & Insurance or Medical Sciences or Social Science (Sociology/ Anthropology/ Social Work/ Journalism/ Ancient History or Fine Art (Culture/ Mass Media/ Heritage Management/ Labour Studies/ Statistics/ Home Science/ Home Economics) or Performing Arts with 55% for Open category and 50% for reserved class candidates beloning to Maharashtra are also eligible to apply OR Candidate who have passed any post graduate degree awarded by any of the Universities (Outside Maharashtra State Candidates (All India Candidature and J&K Migrant Candidates) in any discipline or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India/NCTE with Minimum 55% Marks for all Categories all Subjects and all Faculties (mentioned above) are also eligible to apply
