It is a good college overall.

Placements: There are 60-62 students in each class, and every year, 10-20 students get placed in each course. The highest package is 7 LPA. Top companies like Deloitte, TCS, and Infosys visit the college for placements. There is also a placement cell that teaches about placements and helps students with them.

Infrastructure: There are ACs in labs. There are water coolers and smart classes as well. There are proper hostels for students. It has many sports as well on the college campus. There is a canteen. The college organises picnics and trips. Medical facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers teach very well. They are helpful, and their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and teachers also teach other things to make things more understandable by students. Semester exams are difficult, but can be done by any student. The pass percentage is 33%.

Our college is good, and you will learn many things in Sophia.

Placements: During my tenure at Sophia, placements were not conducted, but nowadays, faculty members are trying to provide placements. So, I don't have much idea about placements. However, around 3-4 students from our junior batch got placed in Infosys in the previous year. So, it is a good initiation.

Infrastructure: I am a days scholar, so I don't have much idea about the hostel. However, other facilities were good 2 years ago, so maybe they have developed more now. Inter-college sports competitions are conducted, and the basketball team of our college secured 1st position most of the time. Sometimes Sophia secured 1st position in hockey also.

Faculty: The course curriculum is good and up to date. Sophia conducted many international conferences and national conferences related to the subjects.

Other: Apart from an annual function, every department also conducts its own function like BCA department has its own IT week.
