Certificate	Candidate must have engaged in 6 months bridge watchkeeping duties. These periods should be of at least eight hours a day while the ship is at sea and on a regular basis. Candidate must have also completed onboard training that meets the requirements of section A-II/1 of the STCW Code and is documented in an approved Training Record Book. This must include 6 months' seagoing service engaged in bridge watchkeeping duties. Must hold the applicable ancillary and safety course certificates as listed in MSN. The work experience must be in seagoing service in any acceptable deck capacity
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate completed 10+2 Science with 50%/10+2 Commerce with 60% from recognized board are eligible to apply.
UG Diploma	Candidate must hold a valid OOW unlimited, II/1, Certificate of Competency and have completed 12 months' watchkeeping service while holding an OOW unlimited, II/1, Certificate of Competency and the applicable ancillary and safety course certificates as listed in MSN section 10. Should also hold discharge book and watch-keeping certificates verifying the 12 months watchkeeping service.
