The college is improving every year.
Placements: In the CSE branch, almost 90 percent of the people get placed every year. The highest being 56.8 LPA this year from DeShaw. The lowest being TCS, which was 3.6 LPA. IIIT Bhubaneshwar's average goes about 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oracle (which recruits almost 20 to 24 candidates every year), Flipkart (recruited 20 candidates, 12 got 34.5 LPA offer, and the remaining 8 who were 3rd year students got internship opportunities).
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure need improvement, but they are improving every year. The quality of single room hostels is decent, and it is value for money. Recently, IRCTC catering services were arranged in the mess, whose food is excellent for the money spent, which is breakfast at Rs. 30, lunch at Rs. 55 and dinner at Rs. 55.
Faculty: Teachers, although very knowledgeable, don't know how to explain the clear-cut concepts of the subject. There are a few renowned teachers who teach extremely well and make the subject interesting and understandable. The course becomes relevant after the first year (First-year subjects were just unnecessary, except for computer-based ones). The semester exams are quite easy to handle if we start studying a day or two before.

Review of International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar.
Placements: Up to 90% of students have been placed in the past few years. The highest package is 25 LPA. The average salary package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Zscaler, Informatica, Oracle, Veritas, Media. net, Publicis Sapient, IBM, Siemens Healthcare, Amazon, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Around 60% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The total campus size is spread over 23 acres. There is an academic building including a library, conference hall, and an auditorium. The campus has a canteen for snacks. Every 2 to 3 weeks, a doctor from SUM Hospital visits for a checkup. Also, there is a football ground in which cricket matches are organised. As for my experience, the infrastructure is good but can be improved. Hostels are kind of average in rating. Not properly managed, as from time to time, the water supply is cut short. The hostel includes a mess which provides average-quality food. There are 8 floors in each building.
Faculty: Faculty members at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, are very skilled. They teach us in a very easy and understandable manner. Faculty members are very friendly. Teachers are supportive and interactive. They help students to grow into a better person. They encourage students to participate in every competition.

College is good, but very much decent.
Placements: Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are quite good, especially for Computer Science and ECE students. Big names like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and even Amazon visit the campus, with average packages around 6-7 LPA and top offers going above 20 LPA. The placement cell is supportive, but students need to put in their own effort with coding, internships, and projects. Non-CS branches also get placed, though they might need to explore IT roles or off-campus options.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides three-seater and four-seater rooms, with the possibility of single rooms for students maintaining a CGPA above 8.0 from the second year onward. While the hostels are generally clean, some students express concerns about the age of the buildings and the quality of the mess food.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good at teaching. They conduct quizzes and also give assignments to students so that they can perform well in the future. The vibe is modern, practical, and driven. You’ll be surrounded by people who are curious, motivated, and ready to build cool stuff. If you're into tech and want to learn by doing, while being guided by faculty who care, IIIT Bhubaneswar is a solid place to grow.
Other: I chose this course because I am not getting any other college. This is the only one I am getting.

At last, I can say that it is a decent college if you need to get a good placement.
Placements: According to the statistics, more than 80% of students got placed on various companies. Also recently a 3rd year student got a internships of 2 Lakh per month in a good company. Placements are decent also good if you are skilled. College provides decent placement facilities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very good. Laundry facilities and other food facilities are good. Comparatively, it's a better college. Sports facilities are decent. The best thing is we only have a single ground for both football and cricket which is a little bit difficult.
Faculty: Semester exams are simply cool and everyone can easily attempt them if they attend their classes regularly. Course curriculum for every branch is simply decent and also includes every subject of the semester with respect to their credit. Overall fee may be a bit high.
Other: Fests are regularly conducted in our college but the thing is no one knows about the fests which is a bit bad.

Satisfied because of hostel but dissatisfied with faculty members.
Placements: In our course, almost 90% of students got placed but most of them have less than 10 LPA salary packages. Rest either didn't get placed or chose to pursue higher studies, like MBA or M.Tech, etc. Top role that is offered in our course is software engineer.
Infrastructure: Our hostels are not that great but also not that bad. We have Wi-Fi for each block and floor. We have a reading room but in college building also we have a library. The quality of food is average. Gym and medical doctors are provided inside the campus. Doctors are only available from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for every day.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful but some of them are not that helpful. Some teachers teach very well and also help with good guidance. Course curriculum is relevant. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are average but some teachers make the papers hard. Overall, it's average.
Other: The best about my course is its core branch which has more number of placements. The best thing about our course is it teaches what really life means. I don't think anything else needs to improve in our course. There are a lot of cultural activities and there is always something happening in the college.

IIIT Bhubaneswar could be better if maintained.
Placements: The IIIT Bhubaneswar B.Tech placements for the year 2024 had its topmost package at INR 26.5 LPA and an average package of INR 8.81 LPA. Furthermore, with regards to the placement 2024 drive, there were also a total of 192 offers that were made and 42 recruiters who came to the campus.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, the infrastructure is old and not maintained, and Wi-Fi is available 24/7, but sometimes it's very slow. The quality of the food is decent. Medical facilities are also available, and a doctor is available in the college. Many sports and games are available, such as football, cricket, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable, but some are rude and arrogant. The course curriculum is old, and it doesn't make us industry-ready as the subjects taught are not helpful for the future. The difficulty of the semester exams is average.
Other: I chose this course because only here I was getting CSE. If the teachers become more supportive and focus more on practical knowledge, it would improve the experience. Fests are held regularly, and many societies are available for extracurricular activities.

Brief report on IIIT Bhubaneswar and why I'm disappointed.
Placements: According to the recent report of the last 7th semester, the highest package received was 26.5 LPA from the Computer Engineering branch and the highest package from CSE stands at 19 LPA, although there have been rumors that one student may have gotten 59 LPA from CSE in the 8th semester. According to the 7th semester report, around 140 students were placed out of around 350 students. The top recruiter for the past few years has been Oracle.
Infrastructure: The hostel is average; it is cleaned every day by the staff, although your room status depends on how you maintain it. Wi-Fi in the old hostel is pretty fine but in the new one it is almost negligible; you have to buy your own, and even the authority may uproot it for a few days depending on their mood but the higher authority allows it. The new hostel is super clean, even the rooms. Medical staff are available almost every day from 5 PM to 7, and a gynaecologist also gives a visit every week. The nearest hospital is just 4.5 kilometers away. Sports facilities like cricket, football, badminton, tennis and even basketball are provided by the campus, but the utensils may not be. Students could ask for utensils, but since most of them only play cricket, badminton or football, it is not necessary. Classrooms were supposed to be A/C but most of them aren't; it only gets hectic in the humid summer of Bhubaneswar. W-Fi in a classroom depends on its location. The canteen provides average food but the mess is absolutely the worst. Sometimes insects are found in food and chairs are a common matter; even the authorities won't deny it. There have been talks about improving it in the next academic year and an email about it has also been circulated. The library is good only for academic topics and if you're interested in literature or other scientific knowledge, you have to find it on your own.
Faculty: The teachers are generally not helpful, although they are quite qualified and knowledgeable but they can't or maybe don't want to transmit the information to us. In my opinion, the teachers are below average but it is also undeniable that few teachers are great, whether they are Ph.D. scholars. The curriculum is relevant if you want to be a software engineer, developed or computer scientist in the 2000s. The academic pressure is high, guidance is negligible, most mentors don't respond, and seniors are the only hope. Most of us won't get industry-ready due to the high academic pressure on irrelevant studies and proper soft or hard skills. The semester exams are standard but sometimes a few professors give questions that are out of context, I would say. Although it's rare, the way they check is a real disappointment; some just won't give you the marks, no matter how hard or how well you write. The pass marks are 35 out of 100 and 10 out of 50 in end-semester exams; passing is not a hard deal here but keeping a good GPA is.

The stars of IIIT Bhubaneswar.
Placements: 90% of the students get placed in our college with the highest package of 38 Lacs per annum and the lowest package of 12 Lacs. Top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Dell, Deloitte, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS, CGI and many others visit our college to hire the students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good along with the facilities being very good. Classrooms are also very good and well structured. Wi-Fi provided by the college is very smooth, but unavoidable circumstances might occur. Hostel rooms are above average and the mess food is not really good.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful but some of the teachers aren’t. The curriculum makes the students industry ready. Difficulty level of semester exams is high having tough questions which can be a bit tricky but satisfiable. The passing score is 35 out of 100, which means that you have to score at least 35 to pass in the examination.
Other: Computer Science and Technology is the best course for future as per statistics. The best thing about my course is that you will be able to learn a lot of things that will improve your basic skills.

Hello Chandan Patra, the fees in IIIT Bhuvneshwar is about rupees 80000/- per semester. But a student will need to spend another rupees 25000/- for different types of fees so approximately it comes to around rupees 100000/- per semester. Best wishes to you.
