The INI CET July 2026 registration portal is now inactive for admission to the MD/ MS/ MDS/ DM/ MCh courses. The INI CET 2026 exam for the July session is scheduled for May 16, 2026.
SCTIMST Trivandrum Courses & Fees 2025
SCTIMST Trivandrum offers UG and PG courses to the students interested for admission. The courses are offered in a well-structured curriculum to make students industry-ready for the future. Commonly asked questions On Fees and Eligibility
AIIMS releases INI CET pattern along with the information brochure. The question paper pattern comprises details about the mode, medium of the exam, total number of questions asked, type of questions, allotted time, and marking scheme. INI CET exam is held in computer-based mode in English medium. According to INI CET 2025 paper pattern, a total of 200 multiple choice questions are asked and candidates get 3 hours to answer them. Candidates get 1 mark for every right answer while -1/3 for every wrong answer. It must be noted that the official question paper and answer key are not released for INI CET exam.
A good number of questions were asked from topics such as Micro, Anatomy, Dermatology, Physiology etc. There were few questions from OBS Gynae, Ortho etc. Questions were one liner and concept based as well. There were fewer repeated questions this time. The overall difficulty level of the INI CET 2025 November question paper was moderate.
INI CET 2025 counselling July session dates and schedule were announced by AIIMS. The counselling began with mock round on June 14, 2025. Seat allotment result for mock round counselling INI CET 2025 July session was announced on June 18, 2025. Round-1 Seat allotment result was declared on June 25, 2025. Round-2 result was uploaded on July 10, 2025. The counselling is held online for seat allotment. Only INI CET qualified candidates can participate in the counselling for seat allotment. A total of 4 rounds of counselling will be held.
Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the INI CET counselling process have to submit the following documents (both original and self-attested copies).

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology Fee Structure
Candidates who get selected must pay the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology fees as per requirement for seat confirmation. The total tuition fees range from INR 10,000 to 2,00,000. Some of the additional fee components, such as refundable security deposit may also be applied. Commonly asked questions On Fees Breakdown
87% of candidates were placed during the SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram PG 2 Year Placements in 2021. Previously, 93% and 87% of candidates were placed in the SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram PG 2-Year Placements in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
The average package offered in Sri Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology Thiruvananthapuram for PG 2 Year and PG 3 Year Internships in 2021 was Rs 5.1 LPA and Rs 2.4 LPA, respectively, according to SCTIMST Thiruvananthapuram NIRF Report 2022.
SCTIMIST Trivandrum has not released the course-specific placement rate for MPH. According to SCTIMST NIRF Report 2023, the placement rate recorded during PG (2-year) placements in 2022 was 92%. Earlier, the placement rate during SCTIMST Trivandrum PG (2-year) placements in 2021 and 2020 was 87% and 93%, respectively. Hence, the institute may not have a placemet rate of 100% but has maintained a notable placement rate of over 80% for PG (2-year) courses.
SCTIMST Trivandrum has not yet released the official report on MPH placements 2024. However, the institute's Medical NIRF report 2024, contains the following insights on the median package offered during PG (2-year) placements in 2023 and 2022:
