Good infrastructure and facilities, moderate placements, and supportive faculty members.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA (off-campus/dream offer). Average package is 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Overall, placement rate is 85% to 95% (in CS/IT/AI-related departments). More than 120 companies visit for recruitment (core, IT, product-based). Many students got 2-3 offers. It offers pre-final year training (aptitude, coding, soft skills, mock interviews).
Infrastructure: Campus-wide Wi-Fi available, decent speed in classrooms and labs. Labs are well-equipped computer labs with updated software for coding, AI, ML, and data science projects. Smart classrooms are available with projectors, good ventilation, and comfortable seating. Digital and physical library is there with access to online journals, IEEE papers, NPTEL video, and a wide range of books.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful, qualified, and approachable. Many faculty members hold M.E./Ph.D. degrees, especially in core subjects. They are supportive with project guidance, placements, and certification. The curriculum is relevant and updated with new tech like python, AI, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, etc. The course is closely aligned with industry trends, supported by value-added courses, workshops, hackathons, and internship support. Final-year projects and CoE labs help make students industry-ready.

College has supportive faculty, good campus life, but we need more industry exposure and internships
Placements: I think that above 80% of students are placed here. The companies are also good, like Mr. Cooper, which took members last day. The package is also good, around 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average compared to any other college, but the Wi-Fi facility is good around here. Free Wi-Fi is provided in both the academic and hostel blocks. Likewise, the labs are also just average, but the library is above average, and a specific library is provided.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly helpful and well-qualified in their respective fields. They explain the concepts clearly and support us whenever we have doubts. A few subjects could have more practical examples, but overall, the teaching quality is good. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but if you attend classes regularly and prepare well, they are manageable. The pass percentage is generally high (around 75%-85%), but a few subjects are tougher and may require more effort. The teaching at this institute is good, and the practical knowledge is well developed here. One specific thing is that robotics is also provided. Every Saturday, there is a project hour where the students work on some projects.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the core concepts of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and how they are applied in real-world technologies. The best things about my course are the strong technical foundation, the practical lab sessions, and the opportunities to work on minor and major projects. The faculty members are supportive, and the department organizes workshops and seminars to enhance our learning.

Agriculture Engineering at SIET.
Placements: The Placement cell of the college aims to place all the students who have opted for placements, irrespective of their specialization. The highest package was 9 LPA from Rently, and the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. The college mainly focuses on the IT domain; the core placements are very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but not maintained properly. For every subject, there is a lab, but not all the machines and computers are in good condition. For agricultural engineering, we have various labs, but a few are not in good condition, and some are really good! The classroom infrastructure is good, but sometimes the power backup also fails.
Faculty: The faculty members are only ME holders and not Ph.D. holders. Very few faculty members are Ph.D. holders, and the experienced faculty are very few in number. The curriculum is old and not updated, and the teaching methodology is just a dictation of theory from other books.

Best engineering college.
Placements: Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology has very good placement opportunities. Many MNCs like Wipro, TCS, CTS, Cognizant, and Biocon come for placements. Many companies offer internships in the core sectors. The tuition fee is around Rs. 50,000 per year. The miscellaneous fee is Rs. 35,000 per year. The book fee is Rs. 15,000. The first-year exam fee is Rs. 5,000 per semester. Students can avail of many state and central government scholarships based on their background and marks.
Infrastructure: Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology has a very good hostel facility. The hostel food is good and maintained in good quality. Three days of non-vegetarian per week and nutrition-rich foods will be provided all the other days. Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology has very good infrastructure.
Faculty: The overall course curriculum is well-designed for students to get more knowledge and get well-trained in the course we take. Each class has a smart class facility to teach students with well-understanding presentations. Faculty members are friendly and knowledgeable enough to train students. Many more extracurricular activities like sports and clubs are available for students.
Other: Life at Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology is a very good experience for students to explore new things and enjoy college life. Many clubs and sports activities are experienced by students. Our college is well-known for lighting up students with bright career opportunities. There are no separate interviews, group discussions, or written tests. The selection process is based on the 12th mark.

My life at Sri Shakthi Institute.
Placements: Students placements are 75%. Teaching is very good, with the highest package at 10 LPA and the lowest at 3 LPA. Students get placed in MNC companies like Biocon, Bioline, Biozone, CTS, Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant. About 65% of students get internships in their core sectors like Biomedical Engineering, Bioanalysis, and Microbiology.
Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi is of average speed in the department. Hostel rooms are good, and the food is average. The mess and canteen are average in size, and a medical specialist is not available in our college. Sports are a priority in our college, and sufficient sports facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are friendly and well qualified, so students can ask and clear their doubts. There will be three internal exams before the semester, and the exams will be easy to moderate level. The course curriculum is more relevant so that students can gain more knowledge in what they learn.
Other: I like Genetic Engineering and chose this course because the campus life is the best in college. The installation of more equipment for every course is beneficial. Events like Kalam, Velanthiruvizha, Onam, Sports Day, and Annual Day add to the vibrant campus life.

The review for this college is not recommended to others.
Placements: There is a 65 percent placement rate in our college. The lowest package is up to 2 LPA, and the highest package is up to 5 LPA. Biocon, Bharat Biotech, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Cognizant, and Wipro are the top recruiting companies in our course. Around 70 percent of students got internships at Laurus Biotech Laboratory and Biocon. The top roles offered in our course are researchers, scientists, drug developers, and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is moderate, and the laboratories are not well-equipped for project work. Free Wi-Fi is available, but classrooms do not meet high expectations. The hostel facilities are not bad, but the food is worst at night, and the canteen is equally bad compared to the hostel. However, there is good encouragement for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-qualified, and they are friendly with us. Students are industry-ready for work abroad, but in India, there is low scope for biotechnology. Semester exams are easy, depending on your capabilities, and the pass percentage is 50.
Other: I'm a biology student, so I thought this course was relevant to me. The best thing is the eagerness to study, and the course is good with no bad comments. It should improve as the years pass. The campus is located outside the city, which is a negative point, and there are no bus facilities. Events are conducted once every three months.
