Agriculture Engineering at SIET.
Placements: The Placement cell of the college aims to place all the students who have opted for placements, irrespective of their specialization. The highest package was 9 LPA from Rently, and the average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. The college mainly focuses on the IT domain; the core placements are very low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but not maintained properly. For every subject, there is a lab, but not all the machines and computers are in good condition. For agricultural engineering, we have various labs, but a few are not in good condition, and some are really good! The classroom infrastructure is good, but sometimes the power backup also fails.
Faculty: The faculty members are only ME holders and not Ph.D. holders. Very few faculty members are Ph.D. holders, and the experienced faculty are very few in number. The curriculum is old and not updated, and the teaching methodology is just a dictation of theory from other books.

I enjoy my college life of gaining knowledge.
Placements: Maximum 85% of students were placed in my course. Maximum 20 LPA and minimum 2 LPA packages offered in my course. Tractors manufacturing and irrigation companies are hiring students. Above 90% of students got internships by my course, marketing executive, sales officer, designing roles are offered in my course.
Infrastructure: My college facilities are really comfortable for girls and boys. My college management hostel facility is very safe with comfortable infrastructure. Hostel rooms with attached bathrooms and continuous water and electricity supply. Providing unlimited food with hygienic utensils.
Faculty: Talented faculty and weekly mentor webinars are provided. Placement faculty members guide students to make them ready for job opportunities. Semester exams are not very difficult, with a 50% pass percentage. All given questions come only from our subject syllabus taught by faculty members.
Other: Agricultural engineering in my college is a very interesting thing. You know, every fieldwork teaches me new knowledge. Each semester has 3-5 events like festivals. I really enjoy my college life.

The college provides proper placement training to students.
Placements: The college provides proper placement training so that students can grab good packages in recruitment drive. The placements start from third year. Many top companies come to hire students. The lowest package is 3 lakhs and the highest package is 10 lakhs.
Infrastructure: There are many laboratories in agriculture and many clubs related to agriculture field. The hostel is nice and the fee structure is based on the marks hey scored. Hostel facilities are good and rooms are clean. Mess offers dishes of both Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and students can freely ask them any doubt. The faculty members are qualified with Ph.D. degree in their fields. The semester exam in the college is good. There are three internal exams. Pass percentage is 60. It is an autonomous college and here they provide placement training and UPSC and TNPSC coaching.
Other: I chose this course because it provides various job opportunities in agriculture field.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: It provides a career enhancement program from the first semester to confirm the best capabilities for the engineering students to achieve in upcoming campus interviews. Many companies visit the college from all over India to choose the best engineers for their companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructures need more improvement. Some buildings are old and damaged. Some buildings are good and safe. Classrooms are good and colorful in our college. The library has many books for the students. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus with good internet speed.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are more talented and experienced in the departments. Their teaching techniques are more good and helpful. All courses have a scope, and they are needful in the future. Semester exams are conducted in the proper mode, and there is no way for malpractices. The pass percentage is about 50%.
Other: I have chosen this course because agriculture is the basic thing for everyone's survival. I have an interest in agriculture. Infrastructure needs improvement here. Events are conducted in a joyful way.

The infrastructure is good and eco-friendly.
Placements: Placement opportunities which have been provided by our college to students are good. About 98% of the students got placed from our department. The highest salary offered is Rs. 38,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Many MNCs visited our college for placements. Company-specific training is provided to students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure, and our college is situated in the main place of the city and near the main road. All the buses will stop in front of the college. The college has all facilities like playground, gym, free Wi-Fi facility on the campus, well developed and digital labs and well condition projector enabled classrooms. Moreover, there are a huge and digital library, 24x7 medical facilities, well trained physical education and food court. Well-trained faculty members are available.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well knowledgeable in their domain, and their way of teaching is also clear and easily understandable to students. They provide all the materials, PPTs and conduct assessments related to both practical and theoretical part. Beyond the course curriculum, more extracurricular activities and co-curricular activities are conducted by staff members, which is really useful for us.
