Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering Admission Process 2025

Q&A Icon
Commonly asked questions
On Admissions
Q:   Can I get direct admission at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering?
A:

For a restricted number of seats direct admission to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) is normally feasible through the management quota. Students who might not have passed the regular entrance tests or merit based selection procedures can nevertheless be admitted using this method. Candidates must still however fulfill the fundamental requirements for eligibility, such as receiving a minimum score on the qualifying tests (often Class 12 or equivalent). Although the management quota offers a different route, it frequently entails a more expensive charge schedule. Due to great demand and a limited number of seats admissions via this route are competitive.

Q:   Is it easy to get admission in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering?
A:

Since Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) is a prestigious school with a stellar academic reputation, entrance might be hard. Undergraduate programme admissions, especially in well-known fields like computer science, electronics and mechanical engineering, are frequently determined by a candidates performance on national exams like JEE (for some seats) or the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process which takes into account grades from the 12th grade. Cutoffs at the college are typically high particularly for students in the general category. Nonetheless there is a considerable probability that someone with a strong academic record and an excellent entrance exam performance will be admitted to SVCE.

Q:   What are the documents required for admission to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering?
A:

Documents that should be submitted to get admission into Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering are as follows:Original and Photocopies of 10th and 12th Mark Sheets.Caste Certificate, in case of applicants belonging to reserved categories.Entrance Exam Scorecard: A valid score from Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for B.Tech admissions.Transfer Certificate from the previous institution.Aadhar Card as proof of identity.Medical Certificate in case it is applicable.Six passport-sized photographs usually. These documents have to be submitted during the admission process to get a seat in the desired program.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: There are some companies that have hired from our campus, such as Accenture, Capgemini, Zoho, and TCS. Only a few people got placed in my course. In computer science, we received top role offers, and only 20% of students are placed. The highest package is 7 lakhs, while the lowest is 3 lakhs.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and library are good, and the hostel is also decent, but Wi-Fi is only provided for lab purposes. The labs in the college are good, and there is a digital library as well as a peaceful environment. The canteen is also very clean and pleasant, and cultural activities are good.
Faculty: The pass percentage of our college is 60, and the teachers are helpful on campus. It is easy to gain the required percentage, and the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course is very helpful for learning. The semester exams are not difficult, but based on the question paper, they may feel somewhat challenging.

I am absolutely satisfied with this campus. Many new things are learned on this campus.
Placements: There are 10–20% of AE students placed in your course. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest is 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are XLR, ZOHO, etc. 50% of students received internships in the IBM company. There are different roles in your course, like tester, developer, and team leader.
Infrastructure: There is so much good in the infrastructure and facilities. There are so good in the each and everything the discussion and the each and everything in the college. There is so much good food in the canteen, and the medical facilities are also good. There are also good sports and games in the college.
Faculty: They are so helpful for the students to help during examination time, and there are some qualified teachers on your campus. Yes, some courses are for the curriculum. Many of the students are ready for the industry, and every student does not conform to whether the industry is ready or not.
Other: Because many features are in this course, we learn new things and have guidance for all sides. Problem solving and coding can be done in many ways in this course. These are so good on your campus, and we have more circular and extra circular ones on your campus.

Overall good college and affordable for locals.
Placements: There are about 10% of the students who got placed in our college. The highest package is about 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is about 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are hocon technologies, Capgemini, etc. There is a very low percentage of students who get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average and the classrooms are not bad The labs and library are outdated from the perspective of infrastructure. There are no hostel facilities in our college; one needs to book rooms outside. But there is a canteen, but the quality is not great.
Faculty: The teachers are good Some are doctorate-level faculty, but guidance is somewhat poor; the knowledge is very basic and not helpful. The curriculum is decided by JNTUA, and our college won't define it. The semester exams are very easy and can be cleared easily.
Other: Relatives and friends suggested this course. Infrastructure can be improved. Fests and events are conducted frequently.

The college is good for local people who wants a liable fee structure.
Placements: 1- About 20 to 30 students graduated with placements. 2- The highest package is 7.5, while the lowest package is 3.5. 3- Top recruiting companies include Accenture, Capagemine, Excellr, and TCS. 4- None of the students received an internship through the college; we had to find one ourselves. 5- BPO software has been developed.
Infrastructure: 1. There is no Wi-Fi available for access in our college, and the infrastructure is average. The labs and library are outdated, and the classrooms have average infrastructure. 2. Our college does not provide a hostel, but the canteen is available; however, the quality of food is poor.
Faculty: 1. Some faculty are good for teaching, while others are not qualified for it despite their knowledge in certain subjects. 2. Yes, it is relevant, and the curriculum is determined by JNTUA, ensuring students are industry-ready. 3. The semesters' exams are moderate and can be easily cleared by studying for one week.
Other: 1. I chose this course due to its high demand. 2. I anticipate an improved infrastructure. 3. Monthly, small-sized events are held three times, while larger festivals are conducted occasionally.

Minimal facilities with not-so-good faculty and a low placement rate.
Placements: 1) The percentage of students placed in our course is 5%. 2) The highest package is 11 LPA, the lowest is 4.5 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. 3) Top recruiters are from Accenture, IBM, Cognizant, etc. 4) No students are getting internships at our college. 5) The roles offered are mostly developer and BPO roles.
Infrastructure: 1) Our college has poor infrastructure and we have department-wise labs and libraries. The whole college has combined labs and libraries, but the connection is poor and not accessible to students. Even for labs, it is so poor. 2) There is no hostel provided at our college.
Faculty: 1) Some teachers are knowledgeable. But most of them have no teaching skills and are not at all helpful in providing guidance. 2) Yes, the curriculum is decided by JNTUA Anantapur; it is good. 3) Exams are normal, and the pass percentage is above 75% but students should study according to the curriculum.
Other: Small events are always conducted with lots of joy; some big events also happen once in a while.

Our college is good and affordable.
Placements: Good opportunities will be provided. Placements were too good but there is a lack in training. They will provide a good base for achievement. Around 30 to 40% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel and no Wi-Fi facility. College has good computer labs and classrooms. It has a digital library. Canteen ambiance was too good but no different type of food is available and only limited varieties.
Faculty: Teachers are good but not up to the mark. They are well qualified, knowledgeable, and have a good teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. It is JNTU affiliated college. It is a bit difficult to pass the semester exams.
