JNTUCEK admission process starts with the application process. Ensure that the minimum eligibility for the preferred programme is met before applying for admission to the same. Find below the step-wise explanation of the JNTUCEK Admission process:

• Application Process: The University College of Engineering, Kakinada starts the admissions by submitting an online application. Applicants apply on the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education portal. The completed application form with all the necessary documents and proof of payment should be submitted online.
• Eligibility Criteria: The candidates can qualify for the undergraduate BTech program by having at least 45% in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For PG programs of MTech and MCA, graduation degree with at least 50% marks is required. Each particular course requires a specific entrance exam, like AP EAMCET for BTech, GATE or AP PGECET for MTech, and APICET for MCA.
• Selection Rounds: BTech applicants should pass the AP EAMCET exam. Candidates who wish to pursue MTech course have to clear either GATE or AP PGECET. MCA admissions depend on marks of APICET only. Candidates who clear the entrance exam move to the last step in the admission process.
• Merit List Released and Counselling: JNTUCEK releases the merit lists round wise. Candidates whose names are appearing on the merit list are called for counseling procedure. In this final round, candidates need to bring original documents for the verification process and the pay the required fee to secure their admission.
