• State Board of Technical Education – Diploma equivalent to PUC/ Class 12
• National and International Boards – CBSE / ISC / IB / AICE / A Levels
• National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi (NIOS) – Senior Secondary
• High School Diploma (USA / CANADA) – Senior Secondary completed with equivalence as per AIU

Yes, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, & Technology conducts the SMEAT exam to shortlist candidates for admission to the UG courses. SMEAT exam is conducted in three cycles. It is an online computer-based test required for BDes admission. Apart from SMEAT, aspirants can also apply for BDes based on national-level entrance exams like UCEED or SAT India. 

The mode of application is online for Srishti Manipal BDes programme. The application fee is INR 600 for each course. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of INR 5,000 for SMEAT. Aspirants need to follow the below steps to apply for admission:

Step 3: Register to generate login credentials.

Step 4: Login to fill out the application form.

Step 5: Upload the documents and pay the application fee.

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am – 12 noon). The exam had two mandatory parts: the computer-based Part A and the offline Part B. The UCEED 2025 admission portal was uceed.iitb.ac.in, which hosted all key updates including the information brochure, eligibility criteria, syllabus, candidate portal, and downloadable resources like previous years' question papers and answer keys. 

After fee payment, a BFA applicant at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design And Technology, MAHE is considered provisionally admitted. To withdraw, the student must submit an online withdrawal request through the MAHE portal. Depending on the timing, physical reporting to the Admissions Office and submission of a signed withdrawal form may also be mandatory.  

Round 1 of SMEAT at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design And Technology, MAHE is scheduled to be held around mid-April (tentatively). This exam is part of the institute's multi-round entrance process that evaluates creative, analytical, and design aptitude. Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design And Technology, MAHE BFA fee consists of a refundable caution deposit of INR 50,000 paid in the first year, an annual tuition fee of INR 4.32 lac, and an other academic fee of INR 3.26 lac each year. Annual fee is INR 7.58 Lacs from Year 1 to Year 4 which excludes one-time caution deposit. 

After completing SMEAT, applicants must log in to their admissions dashboard to view their results. BFA admission outcomes at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design And Technology, MAHE are published as Accept, Waitlist, or Regret. Selected candidates must confirm their seat by paying the welcome fee and completing the required fee payment process within the given deadline.

For Round 1 admissions to the BFA programme at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design And Technology, MAHE, the application form had to be submitted by 15 March. This deadline applies to all undergraduate design-related programmes including BFA and B.Des. Applicants must ensure their forms and fees are completed by this date to be considered for the first round of SMEAT assessment.
