If you just want to earn a degree, then this is the best college for you.
Placements: No companies came to the college for placements. During my time, only one bank, ICICI, visited, and that too with a very low package. As for the other courses and branches in the college, the situation was the same only one or two companies visited the campus, offering very low or almost zero packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was poor, similar to what you might expect from government colleges. The classrooms lacked proper ventilation, and the fans were not working properly. As for the playing grounds, the college had only one well-maintained cricket ground, while the badminton, basketball, and football fields were in terrible condition with zero maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty was the worst, and the curriculum was inadequate. It was only suitable for students who were looking to obtain a degree without gaining any knowledge. The teachers were there only to make money while providing zero knowledge to the students. The teachers even asked students to take coaching classes from them, allowing them to earn money while offering no knowledge of any course.
Other: This college surely values your money. Paying Rs. 16,000 per year for a degree is a great deal.

The college is just to get a degree.
Placements: 0% of students in my course got placed at this college. The highest placement was offered to a B.Com. student, which was INR 4 LPA. The only recruiting company here is IDFC. Only 5% of students got internships in other courses. Only the basic roles of an intern are offered here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. There's no Wi-Fi available except for the library. Lab equipment is in very poor condition and is very old. Classrooms are not digital. The library is very basic. The mess and canteen food quality are unbearable. Medical facilities are of no use. Sports and games are just for namesake.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is the only good thing of this college. Course is curriculum relevant but does not make students industry ready. Semester exams are difficult if you are an average student but if you are studious you can score good. Passing percentage here is 60%.
Other: I chose this course because it gives me a lot of opportunities for my future. I wish it was more industry-oriented. College is very poor in terms of festivals and events. Only a few get-togethers are organized here. And extracurricular activities are only for those who are overactive.

Review by a student of St. Andrew's College.
Placements: The placement opportunities for B.Sc. Mathematics students at St. Andrews College are encouraged and student-friendly. The college has an active placement cell that works continuously to guide students in career building. Various training programs, such as aptitude practice, personality development, and interview preparation, are conducted regularly to make students confident and industry-ready. Although core mathematics jobs are limited, the college ensures that students are exposed to multiple career paths. Companies from the fields of IT, finance, education, and data analysis frequently visit the campus, offering roles that match the skills of mathematics graduates. Students with good academic performance.
Infrastructure: The B.Sc. Mathematics course at St. Andrews College is well-structured and provides a strong academic foundation. The hostel facilities of the college are equally reliable. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with proper study arrangements for students.
Faculty: St. Andrews College ensures that students get proper support and facilities during the examination period. Examination halls are spacious, well-ventilated, and seating arrangements are planned in advance to avoid confusion. Proper lighting and a quiet atmosphere are maintained, which helps students to stay focused. Overall, the examination facilities provided in the course are well-organized and student-friendly. The college makes sure that every student gets a fair chance to perform, and the environment remains balanced, secure, and motivating during this crucial period. The syllabus covers important subjects like algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematics. Teachers are supportive and explain concepts in a simple manner, making even tough topics easier to understand. The department also organizes seminars, quizzes, and workshops that help in developing analytical and problem-solving skills. Students preparing for higher studies or competitive exams also receive guidance, which adds value to the course.
Other: My experience during the exam period at St. Andrews College was good. The halls were neat, seating was comfortable, and everything was well managed. Teachers were helpful, and the rules were followed strictly but fairly. Hostel students also got extra study time and good food, which reduced exam stress. Overall, the facilities made it easier to focus on studies.

Faculty and infrastructure are average, but there are no placements.
Placements: Placement rates are poor, as there was zero placement in several previous years. Students are doing extra courses or gaining extra skills and gaining placement or internships by themselves. There are no recruiting companies at this college. It can change, but for now, there are no placements till date.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, as there are labs for the Chemistry department, the Industrial Chemistry department, the Botany department, the Zoology department, and the Physics department. Classes are big, but one class has around 200 to 300 students, which cannot sit in one room. If you come first, you can get a seat; otherwise, you cannot. The hostel is only for girls, and boys are not allowed there.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are average. As teachers teach and go, it's up to the students; some understand and some do not. Teachers do not show interest in making students industry-ready, they only teach from a book and go, and sometimes they are unable to complete half of the syllabus, but they conduct exams. Exams are semester-based and follow the NEP and CBCS patterns. Pass rates are increased because of the CBCS pattern, but marks are very low.

Review of St. Andrew's College.
Placements: It is one of the best colleges in Gorakhpur. We get admitted to the college after qualifying for the entrance examination and scoring above 40%. In the previous year, around 40% of applicants were admitted to the college. The highest salary package offered ranges between 20 LPA - 25 LPA. The average salary package ranges between 15 LPA - 18 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 8 LPA - 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are NIELIT, Flipkart, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Amazon, HDFC bank, HP, etc. About 70% of students got internships from our course. Top roles offered are front desk officer, lecturer, salesman, sales executive, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has every single facility that a typical college has. Our college provides us with the best facilities like a hostel facility, ventilated classrooms, etc. All labs are facilitated in subjects as required. Our college provides sports and games facilities with grounds and great trainers. The mess, canteen, and medical facilities are available in our college. Our college has a park.
Faculty: Our teachers and professors are helpful to a great extent. If you are a great student and wish to study, then they will help you to reach your goal. If you don't have an interest, they will try their best to make you study and follow your passion. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy and competitive. The pass percentage of our college is 95%.
Other: I opted for this course because there is a need for teachers in the education industry. This course provides a high on-demand salary and other factors that make this profession more efficient in a way of education. Our college provides scholarships for about 90% of students.

The most satisfying college of Gorakhpur .
Placements: I'm a regular student in St Andrew's college Gorakhpur. I'm in B.A. (HISTORY) department. The college doesn't provide placement for this particular course, but for other courses like BBA etc. It provides internship in reputed banks and company like ICICI Bank etc. The annual package was something between 5-6 LPA. The highest package offered was 7 Lacs but the number of students who take internship form College are very less the students prefer mostly to look for off campus options.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very beautiful, the college is surrounded by 3 big gardens, and it feels that we are surrounded by green nature. The classrooms are well digitalized and there is separate Chemistry lab, Biology lab and Physics lab and many more labs for other courses. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and also the campus is very safe because it is under full CCTV surveillance as well as 24*7 security guards. The option of hostel is not available in this college. The canteen of the college is located in the middle of the college, and I must say that it serves very tasty and delicious food items, the famous items here available are Samosa and Tea. Medical facilities are also available inside the college if needed so and There are separate grounds for various sports activities like Cricket, Football, Volleyball etc. The cricket team of our college represents in district and State level also. Overall, the infrastructure is very good of our college.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very well educated and well behaved. The teachers in my course as well as other courses too are very well educated. They all are helpful in nature, and they also try to help students to understand the topics properly. They are well educated according to our curriculum. The curriculum followed by our college is according to our university which is named DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyay) University. And the curriculum is known as CBCS pattern. This curriculum involves of 2 semesters per year, and it is very good and students like it very much because the lots of exam and syllabus is distributed into 2 parts. The semester includes 2 exams per year and the exams are very easy if you study consistently. The passing percentage is 33% in college.
Other: I'm currently in the 2nd year of B.A history and my academic year is2020-2023. I chose this course because it will help me in my future government exams. The best thing about my course is that it gives me best exposure to the society and history of our country. I don't like to improve anything in my course because it is very well, and I love it. The social life in college is also very good, many events are organised in my college from time to time like KTM stunt show and NCC parade and also many fests are also hosted in my college such as freshers party and farewell party and the establishment day ceremony etc. There are also scholarship programs for the backward class and economically backward classes by the state government and many extracurricular activities such as games and cricket at State level are also organised in the college as well as there are various clubs for the extra-curricular activities such as Drama club, sports club, Cultural club.
