This college has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: My batch was full of intelligent students, and the course which I did was B.Sc. chemistry. The passing out year was 2017. Above 80% of students got placed in this course. The highest package offered was 2 to 4.5 LPA only with experience. The lowest package offered was 80,000 to 1.5 L PA, and the average package offered was 1.5 to 2.3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS). Oil India Limited, Lakshmi North East Solutions Pvt., Ltd., Jobjunctioninfo Pvt., Ltd., etc. Students got internships in this course, and it depends on the candidate's skills and knowledge. Roles offered in this course are lab technician, research assistant, laboratory manager etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in our college are awesome and very useful for students. You won't feel any discomfort or any disappointment. Everything is available as per the requirements. The quality of food is well maintained and standard. Medical facilities are well-maintained. However, in sports and games, the basketball court is very good, and the football ground is a bit small.

Faculty: 90% of teachers are helpful, and 95% of teachers are well qualified. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great and a little strict. The course is relevant because of the teaching and studying method. It depends on the students how much they work hard.

Other: I chose this course because it is the top most college for B.Sc. science and technology students. The percentage of the candidates is highly rated in this subject. It's by completing my Master level which would be better to improve my course. The college events are good and enjoyable. The cultural fest is not so good. The campus is properly built and well maintained. The crowd is high because this college is the top college in Shilong. Many students from other states come here to study. Campus surroundings are average, and the college is near to the main road. Scholarships are provided to all students with good marks. Extracurricular activities are conducted every year.
