I am satisfied with teachers and infrastructure.

Placements: Many students are placed based on their personality, knowledge, and grades. Top recruiting companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, etc., visit our campus. Our college has foreign academic membership with universities like Harrisburg University and many other colleges.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the library and hostel. The mess and canteen are good. Facilities for sports like basketball, badminton, etc., are available. A small gym is also available.

Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. They give personal attention to every student. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are average.

Other: I chose this course because I found the subject interesting and prominent these days. Our college organises many fests and events. Extracurricular activities are conducted in a balanced way with academics. Scholarships are provided with the help of certain organisations.

I am satisfied with the three years spent at this college.

Placements: Two years back, placements were not provided for the art department in subjects like economics, English, geography, psychology, etc. However, there were placements for B.Com department. Only 2-3 companies visited for placements, and only a few students got placed. There is a placement cell in the college, but it is not that efficient.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college provides Wi-Fi facility at campus and hostel. The best part of college is the library. They have an ancient library as well. As far as sports are concerned, there is a basketball ground, but no one is appointed as a coach for that. So girls can play by themselves if they want to. The classrooms and labs are okay. There is a single canteen in the college, and it is crowded most of the times. The hostel infrastructure is good. Thevenet block consists of 4 floors, out of which the topmost is the mess. The hostel consists of triple occupancy rooms. The rules are quite strict here as it is an old Christian college. If you are willing to adjust and willing to follow the rules of the hostel, then only you should take it otherwise I would suggest taking a paying guest accommodation.

Faculty: The teachers here are learned professionals, qualified, and knowledgeable. So their quality of teaching is something to be appreciated. The faculty to student ratio is quite imbalanced though being more bent towards the former. The course curriculum could have been better as relatively compared to what students in Delhi University are taught.

Other: Various types of activities are conducted throughout the year. Fests, competitions, inter-college competitions, literary meets, etc., are conducted. Being from Delhi, I feel the campus surroundings are what one must really consider. The college is situated in Shimla almost 3 kilometres away from the Mall road. The view is breathtaking, and also, Sanjauli market is quite near, i.e. in a walking distance of 5-10 minutes. Initially, you might feel stressed out. I assure you that once you pass out from this college, all you will do is reminisce about the years you've had. You'll come out of it as an independent and capable woman ready to face the world head-on.
