Placements: Not all companies hire students from the M.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry course, so selected companies are specially invited for the placement process. In total, 13 companies arrived and hired 23 students out of the overall strength of 35 students.
Infrastructure: Highly qualitative food is served, but in lower quantities, which is enough only at certain times. Sports complexes are built for indoor and outdoor sports activities. Relaxing pathways with enthusiastic people surround the campus area. Separate library cards are provided to all students to use library books frequently.
Faculty: The major syllabus includes Chemistry, sandwiched with various topics. Industry-oriented guest lectures are invited to share updates on revolutionary movements related to the curriculum. Teachers work significantly for the academic growth of students.

Overall, best college for M.Sc. in analytical chemistry course.
Placements: The highest salary offered at St Berchmans College will be 12 LPA. The average package was about 6 LPA. Shell, UltraTech Cement, UPL, etc., were the top recruiting companies. According to available data, about 66% of students from the course could access internships. The most common ones were toxicologist, forensic scientist, and so on.
Infrastructure: On our campus, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical center, sports, and games were available. Quality was much better than labs and classrooms. Food was awesome and tasted great in our campus canteen and mess. Hostel rooms were very nice and in good condition. I never faced any infrastructure issues during my time at college.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. Teachers were student-friendly. Knowledge was imparted in a simple and authentic manner. You might be very happy to see teachers like this, they were not teachers, they were our pillars for success. So, faculty members were very good. Semester exams were very easy, and pass rate was more than 95%.

Overall, it is the best college for an M.Sc. in Mathematics course.
Placements: Many companies tend to issue 6 LPA from time to time due to a lack of profitability in the industry. Only 66% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered is 35 LPA, which is not good enough. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Each year, few companies show up and provide few jobs. The top recruiting companies for our course are Sogeclair, SciAstra, ISRO, etc. The top roles offered are data analyst, financial analyst, etc. Many students get internships.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities, classrooms are mediocre. Since the school is open, the atmosphere is fantastic. Wi-Fi is also available. Libraries exist. In addition, numerous hostels cater to both general students and students from a specific caste. The staff is always friendly and available. The hotel room is excellent.
Faculty: Senior teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is adequate, especially in terms of skills. Exams are not so difficult if you go to PYQs and it is easy to get a passing score. The cutoff percentage may vary from course to course and according to the requirements of the course. The pass rate is 50%.

Good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Around 50%-60% of students were placed from our course. The highest package offered in our course was 6 LPA. The average package was around 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Vedanta, Wipro, etc. Top roles offered in our course were assistant professor, teachers, statistics, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Library was available on the college campus. The quality of facilities available in the college was good like fresh drinking water, clean washrooms, and toilets. Limited sports facilities were present.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their courses of study. The teaching quality of our college faculty members was good. Course curriculum was relevant. Students had to try by themselves for jobs or experience. Semester examinations depend on student potential.

My overall rating for college is 4 out of 5.
Placements: Placements start with internships. Many Ernakulam native organizations like IOC, Shimla Foods, and BP hire interns and out of that, almost 80% of interns are offered a full-time job. Nowadays, companies hiring is reduced and they don't hire directly instead of that they hire interns and see the behavior and capabilities of students later given full-time jobs. Apart from that, the college places 80% of students from our 2023 batch. The package is not as expected. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA and the highest package is 5 LPA, which is low. The top role offered is a chemical analyst. Overall, the experience is good.
Infrastructure: The college did not have a uniform at the start later suddenly they announced we had to wear a uniform, which is not good. The infrastructure and college environment are fascinating but at the same time, rules are very strict. Wi-Fi and the internet are available all over the college premises. The library is quite big and it has 200 students capacity and we can take books to the hostel. The hostel is good. I like the food and all the stuff. The college canteen is not open all the time and very limited items are there. No medical facilities are available but for minor injuries, we have a small clinic.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good but some have attitude problems. They don't treat students well and they insult students on the call, which is not a good thing. Some faculty members are very helpful and sensible. They understand our feelings and mostly, chapters are taught at PPT. There is no practical exposure. The course is good. Mid-exams, end-semester exams, assignments, practicals, and projects are conducted in the course. Semester exams are tough and need a lot of preparation. 30-35% of students fail every year in our college.

It is a good college for the biotechnology course.
Placements: Placements in our biotechnology programs are remarkable, and it has a 92% placement rate. Top recruiting companies like Biocon, Reliance, etc., visit the college for placements. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The average package was 6 LPA. Around 80% of students secure internships in companies like Sun Pharma and Bharat Biotech.
Infrastructure: The biotechnology department's infrastructure is excellent. It has a high-speed Wi-Fi connection, cutting-edge labs, and well-equipped classrooms. The library is rich with resources, including books and journals. The hostels are comfortable with hygienic food and medical facilities. The hostel has a 24x7 Wi-Fi connection and water supply.
Faculty: Faculty members in biotechnology are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. They are always ready to help students. They are able to solve all the doubts that students have. The course curriculum is standard to meet in studio months ensuring a well-prepared for our careers. Semester exams are relatively easy with a passing rate of 87%.
