My honest review of my college.

Placements: My college doesn't provide internships because it is an Art and Science college. We have a dedicated placement cell, which is coordinated by one of the best faculty members. Most of the students are placed through campus selection, even I am also placed through this. We also have mock interview sections and soft skills development programs with regard to this.

Infrastructure: I am a regular student. Actually, we have a normal hostel facility for boys and girls. Infrastructure is basic, but the food is also good and worth enough for the hostel fee. The hostel is very near to the college, and is run by a priest and nuns.

Faculty: The faculty members are very awesome, knowledgeable, experienced, and expert. Apart from the syllabus, they are trying to mould us into a better personality who is capable of getting a better job and a better social life. They are very lenient in clarifying doubts. They initiate various programs for our growth. The course curriculum is quite challenging and seems daunting at first. There's a famous quip in DSE that surviving DSE is much tougher than getting into it, which itself has become immensely competitive recently. But despite this, the experience is very enriching and satisfying, studying from the best faculty and with the brightest students. The course curriculum is very rigorous, as you have to follow the enormous syllabus regularly with the classes. The in-house exams are conducted from time to time for the partial syllabus, and the end semester exams are held for the complete syllabus.

MA economics: A pathway to industry readiness.

Placements: Approximately 75% of students were placed in my course. Top recruiting companies for my course that offers placements are HDFC Bank, Varun Beverages, SA Consultants and Forwarders, Stream Perfect Global Services. Top roles offered in my course are Economic Analyst, Policy Analyst, Consultant, Data Analyst, Research Analyst, Banking and Finance Roles. Highest salary package offered in my course is 7 lakh rupee per annum, lowest package is 3 lakh rupee per annum and average package is approximately 4.5 lakh rupee per annum. Approx. 65% of students got internship from my course and offered companies are HDFC, Cognizant, Varun Beverages.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are all well-furnished and there are also smart classrooms. There is a wi-fi provided computer lab and a research lab. The library is fully automated with a software that includes vast collection of books. The entire campus is wi-fi enbled. Emotional and personal support services are also available. The canteen offers variety of foods that are nutritious.

Faculty: Every student of my department is well qualified and skilled in their respective field. They are very helpful to us students. Their teaching quality is top notch. They support and care each of the students carefully. The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive. The program offers in specialization subjects of economics. This process make the students industry ready. The semester exams are nor easy or tough. With proper study everyone can pass the semester exams. Approx. 85% of student pass the semester.

Other: I choose this course because first of all I like my subject economics. The curriculum, teaching process, reputation of this college and many things make me love to admit in this college. The food quality and hostel facilities are the things I think they can be improved. The campus is full of events, fest. There is also scholarships and extracurricular activities.
