Overall it is the best college for M.A. Economics.

Placements: The placement rate is above 85%. The highest package offered was for 11 Lacs, the lowest package came down to 5 Lacs, and the average annual salary stood at around 6.5 Lacs. Top hiring firms include EY, KPMG, HSBC, Deloitte, ICICI, etc. Roles like Associate and Analyst were offered.

Infrastructure: The department is well maintained and well furnished. The hostels are very comfortable with regular cleaning facilities, and the rooms have double occupancy and are quite spacious. The department is beautiful, and we have a large library and limited Wi-Fi connection, but plenty of books and online resources.

Faculty: The semester exams are not that difficult; the pass rate is over 90%, so you will pass. The curriculum is quite broad, covering all micro- and macroeconomic components with a focus on the more numerical and theoretical aspects of the subject. The teachers are also good, some with PhDs.

Learning wise and experience wise, it is good.

Placements: 1 The placement rate is above 85%. 2. The highest package offered was for 11 Lacs, the lowest package dropped down to 5 Lacs, and the average stood somewhere in the 6.5 Lacs range per annum. 3. The top recruiting companies included EY, KPMG, HSBC, Deloitte, ICICI, etc. 4. Roles like associate and analyst were offered.

Infrastructure: The department offered good reading space by providing us with clean classrooms, good books, and library and computer lab access. The hostel facilities were commendable, with clean rooms and a hygienic mess area, and there were common areas to the chill, which were also nicely maintained.

Faculty: The faculty members were quite qualified and experienced and were approachable and ready to be there to help out students when needed. The course curriculum gets designed every year with the accommodation of any the latest update or industry needs. The exams are easy.

Curriculum is vast and faculty support is good.

Placements: The placement record for the senior batch was good, with over 80% of students getting placed. The average package was close to eight lakh rupees per annum, and the highest package was twelve lakh rupees. The top recruiters were Big 4, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. In addition, more than 60% of the students secured internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The classrooms in our department are clean and well maintained, with proper and comfortable seating space. The library is quite big and has a huge variety of books. The mess and canteen both provide good quality food. The hostel staff is good, and the amenities provided are decent.

Faculty: The curriculum at St. Thomas College, Pala is quite good and covers a wide range of topics such as macroeconomics, econometrics, international development, and more. The faculty staff are quite knowledgeable and have good years of industry exposure. The exams are a medium level in terms of difficulty, and most students do pass the exams without backlogs.

Return on investment is quite nice.

Placements: The college has a pretty decent placement cell that coordinates and takes care of placement. We had an almost full placement in our batch, with the highest package being recorded at 12 lacs per annum. Various companies, along with the Big Four auditing firms, were part of the recruitment process.

Infrastructure: Maintained and well-equipped departments are there. The hostels are very comfortable with regular cleaning facilities, and rooms have double occupancy and are spacious enough. The department is beautiful, and we have a large library and limited Wi-Fi connection, but books and online resources are in good amount.

Faculty: The semester exams are not that difficult; the passing rate is more than 90%, so you will pass.
