M.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2025

Overall, the best college for M.Sc. in Computer Science course.
Placements: The students' placement rate is 93%. The maximum contribution is 27 LPA, while the minimum is 2 LPA. Recruitment companies such as Airbnb, Netflix, Apple, and many others have participated. Roles offered are data architect, statistician, and various others. Many students have received internships.
Infrastructure: The hotels are old, so the hotel facilities are relatively good. Hostel food is manageable. However, the layout of the main lecture hall, library, CSC, Dogra Hall, and assembly halls is good. The Wi-Fi speed is decent, but there is a daily limit of 10GB, this excess usually leads to a temporary ban.
Faculty: College professors are good. We have very decent talks. They have a good knowledge of their respective subjects. They have good experience. They provide a good way to think about and understand their topics. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exam is tough, with a passing percentage of 67%.

M.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2024

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, it is the best college for the M.Sc. in Computer Science course.
Placements: M.Sc. in Computer Science at our college provides opportunities for students. In the past two semesters, almost all students had the chance to get placed, and about 60-65% of students succeeded in our course. Top recruiting companies in the college include Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Intel, etc. The average package offered in this college ranges from 10-20 LPA. Top roles offered are software engineer, machine learning engineer, etc. Many students also got internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are properly furnished with a projector, speaker, board, air-conditioning, and feature comfortable seating for students. Wi-Fi service is available 24x7 on campus. Locker service is provided for all students in the department building. Two generous living rooms are available, while bathrooms are equipped with individual geysers. Meals in the mess are mediocre.
Faculty: Educators are supportive, skilled, and informed. Effective teaching is excellent, and education is more focused on research than merely creating programs. The course curriculum is relevant. It equips students for employment. Final exams are quite challenging, and learners must put in a lot of effort if they aim to achieve high marks. The percentage of students who pass is 30%.

Good infrastructure and helpful faculty.
Placements: The college doesn't offer any internships for Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. The students have to look for opportunities themselves. Some do enroll for placement training, but the chances of being placed are very scarce. I did not see any of my batchmates getting placed through college placements.
Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and library are good. The library has good resources and is big and spacious. The lab for Psychology has adequate equipment, and the staff is also helpful. But the college doesn't have a hostel of its own. Outsiders stay in PGs nearby that are one metro station away. The canteen has a variety of options in both veg and non-veg, and there is also a medical room right by the entrance gate.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified. They use both blackboard teaching and modern methods. The curriculum is relevant theory-wise, but the practicals are not that great, and the internship opportunities are also not there, so there is not much industry exposure. The semester exams are moderately set but with very little time given to write a lengthy paper. The pass percentage in semester exams is 40%, and in internals, it is also the same.
Other: There will be one annual fest. It's a women's college, but the management is very strict with the dress code—knee-length kurtis with sleeves. The minimum attendance percentage is 80% per paper, and they are very strict about it. You also get event attendance. The campus is big and clean with greenery and is accessible from different places. The nearby metro station is 10 minutes away by walk. The only thing that could improve is providing internship opportunities for Bachelor students and better industry exposure.

B.Com. in International Business - Batch of 2025
4.2

It is a great college to focus on life, with good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 60 out of the applied 45 students (75%) of students got placed. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, De Shaw, ICICI Bank, Accenture, TCS, and Dupont. One student got an internship at De Shaw. Three students got into Goldman Sachs. Top roles offered in tax and audit.
Infrastructure: Classroom with projector and computers, and a large library with all books useful for international business subjects. No hostel is provided; it is a large campus on Street Number 6 near Lifestyle Lane in a housing area. There is a gym and a large indoor stadium at the college for sports like basketball and badminton. The canteen food is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-trained and knowledgeable about their subjects. Each semester, we fill out anonymous feedback for faculty. The course is relevant and prepares students for industry. Semester exams are designed to cover the syllabus and 58 students out of 60 pass without any backlogs.

I'm satisfied with completing my degree from this college.
Placements: We have a placement cell present in our college, which takes care of all the placement activities day to day. Top companies come here to recruit the students who are performing outstandingly in academics as well as extracurricular activities. They offer top roles with good packages.
Infrastructure: Having studied here for 3 complete years, I can really say I appreciate the campus and its infrastructure facilities. It is clean and hygienic in every corner of the campus, and we have very functional labs and a big and well-stocked library. We have an indoor stadium present and a clean and hygienic canteen.
Faculty: All the faculty I've seen all these 3 years are good, caring, and kind towards us. Every semester, the faculty changes, but they still manage to teach us outstandingly, despite the fact knowing we miss our old faculty. The curriculum here is very knowledgeable, and the semester exams are held very strictly.
Other: The best part of joining Francis is their events, fests, extracurricular activities, and more. We celebrate our events and fests very joyfully and engagingly.

Review of St. Francis College for Women.
Placements: A very high percentage of placements are provided in my course that was more than 70%. The highest package of my course was 15 lacs, and the average was 2 lacs. Many top recruiting companies, like Crazy World and Sams, are hiring students from our course. The percentage of internships in this course was only 50 to 60%.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available to use for the student in this department. The infrastructure of the college was also good. Wi-Fi is not available in our college; all other things are available in my course. The quality and facilities in my hostel canteen were so good; the food was tasty. Medical and sports games also happened in my college.
Faculty: The teachers are so qualified at my college; all are very knowledgeable and have good teaching qualities. Students are also industry-ready. The semester exams in my course are more than 6 exams in the year, but the pass percentage of all exams is only 35%.
Other: The best thing about the course is that we have to work on practical things. Nothing is needed to improve in this course; campus crowd is so good, and scholarships are also available for the students.

There is a separate course for maths honours that is B.Sc Mathematics Hons. If you want to pursue any BSc course, then Maths will be included in it For example, if you do economics hons, then maths will also be taught as a separate core paper.
