I'm dissatisfied with my overall experience. Bad placements, bad faculty, and staff.
Placements: They just conduct placement sections. It's not at all helpful to any of us because most of the companies are accounting companies. That we don't know. The company they mentioned in the brochure didn't come, when we asked about that they said a partnership company came and conducted a section that says if you purchase a course and perform well in that will be recommended or called for the interview of the top companies which was there in the brochure.
Infrastructure: The only thing I loved and kept in my memories only is the hostel because it is a nice experience for me. It doesn't feel like a hostel. We have many entertainments and a couple of memories.
Faculty: The course we choose is the best only but the faculty members we got in my college are very poor. The curriculum is very bad experience for me and the exams that is also very poor they don't know how to check and give marks. We don't have any option to get any more marks or appeal. They behave very badly. Sometimes they behave well and sometimes they behave very badly.
Other: The course I selected was a good decision but the college I chose was very bad. The college doesn't give me any information or good memories for me.

Our college is good and affordable to pursue studies.
Placements: About 5% of students got placed in good companies through our college. The highest salary package offered is 61 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 31 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Wipro, etc. About 10% of students got internships. Top roles offered are software developer, app creator, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our campus is huge and has a clean environment for studying. Our college rules and regulations are strict. The hostel is not up to the mark. The hostel facilities are average. The food served at the hostel is average. Our college gives much importance to sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are good and highly skilled. Most of them have completed their higher studies. They make students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 35%. Exams are a little bit difficult to pass but are easy for students who study well.
Other: Our college organises events regularly.

Great learning environment with supportive faculty, decent placements, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: I’m from the 2026 batch. Around 75-80% of students got placed. The highest package was 8 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average was around 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Around 60-70% of students received internships from companies like Dell, Infosys, and startups. The top roles offered were software developer, web developer, data analyst, UI/UX designer, and technical support.
Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure- Our BCA department has well-equipped computer labs with internet access, projectors, and the required software for programming and development. Classrooms are spacious and have smart boards in some rooms. Wi-Fi is available across the campus for students. The library is well-stocked with academic books, journals, and digital resources that support our curriculum and project work. The hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, basic furniture, and 24/7 water and electricity. The mess food is average, with a mix of South Indian.
Faculty: Faculty quality (rating: 4/5): Teachers are quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them hold postgraduate degrees (MCA/M.Teach), and some even have PhDs. They are approachable and guide students not just academically but also in career-related areas like project building, certification, and placements. Classes are mostly interactive, with a good mix of theory and practical. Some teachers use PowerPoint presentations, real-world case studies, coding labs, and live demos to make complex topics easier. Curriculum Relevance (Rating: 4/5): The BCA curriculum covers subjects like Data Structures, Java, Python, Web Development, DBMS, and Cloud Computing.
Other: I chose the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course because I have a strong interest in coding, software development, and technology. This course offers a perfect mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which helps in building a solid foundation for a career in the IT industry. The best things about this course are the updated syllabus, hands-on programming experience, supportive faculty, and opportunities for projects and certification. It helps students become job-ready by the end of the course. However, I wish the course included more live industry projects, regular expert talks, and updated lab infrastructure.

Review of St. Francis De Sales College.
Placements: College didn't offer any placements. Small companies come for recruitment. Internships are offered 25%.
Infrastructure: There were 2 labs with sufficient computers. Canteen was hygienic and the food was good. There is no Wi-Fi. Library is very spacious with all kind of books. Digital library is available. Xerox is available in the library.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well qualified. Teaching depends on students. Exams are not difficult as it is Bangalore University papers. Around 35% is the pass percentage. The course curriculum is relevant but doesn't make students ready for the industry.
Other: I finished PCMC, so I wanted to go computer field so I chose BCA.

Review of St. Francis Sales College.
Placements: About 45% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package is offered in the BCA course. Top recruiting MNC companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Everyone will get a chance to do an internship in MNC company. A top role is offered in BCA course.
Infrastructure: My college provides a lot of facilities and infrastructure. Labs are well-equipped. The college provides good library facilities and digital library. Classrooms are in very good condition. Hostel facilities are somewhat good as per my knowledge, and everything is as per the timetable for hostel students. Quality of food served is very healthy and hygienic. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: I am still a student at this college. I know very well about the present faculty members, and they are very friendly and helpful for the needs of students. They are well educated and knowledgeable. Their teaching qualities are very good. This BCA course gives technology knowledge, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course to get a placement in the IT industry to live a life in a luxury way. Students who score above 75% in PUC 12th standard would get a scholarship.

Satisfactory and recommended for other upcoming students.
Placements: Students, based on performance, are placed and there is no particular approach from the college end. The college has a yearly job drive from various companies such as Infosys, IBM, etc. The highest package offered was Rs. 4 LPA. "Software developer" and "system analyst" are the job roles offered during my time in college.
Infrastructure: There are both men's and women's hostels available with very good facilities and friendly guiding wardens. Food quality is average but is healthy and there are varieties of food available in north Indian and South Indian food for all the students from various parts of the country.
Faculty: Teachers are up to the mark with help in studies and also for examinations. All the proper materials are shared for examination studies. Students have all the facilities for studying inside the camp. The library of the college provides all the extra syllabus-covering materials.
Other: There are amazing festivals and events such as Prathibha, Prayan, and Razmataz. Adding on to that, the college supports sports, mainly football, basketball, cricket, and softball. The NCC falls are amazing and raise the pride of the college.
