Truthful review about St. Thomas College.

Placements: College provides a good placement offer. Many students are placed from this college. Median salary offered was 8-10 LPA. We get placement from technical companies, also through which we get jobs in the teaching sector. Students are eligible for placement after the third semester. The college placement cell invited many companies for placement.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not that good. Students are pursuing a bad hostel life. The hostel staff are so strict. After 6:30 PM, students do not have permission to talk to each other. If a student wants to study only, then this hostel life is good for them. Foot quality is not that good.

Faculty: Our college faculty are highly qualified in their respective field. They properly plan for the curriculum, which helps during the placement offer. Exams are quietly tough, if you follow the lectures of the faculty, then you easily pass the exam. Faculty members are clear about all doubts and solve students' problems.

Placements: For campus placements, we should have a CGPA of 8 or more. There are two categories in which M.Sc students take placement one is tech companies and the other is tutor companies. If we are doing a master's degree then after 3 semesters, we are eligible for campus placements. There is TPR in every class which provides us with various companies for placements.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is not very good. Students are good, so the hostel life is good. The hostel will feel like a jail. We have to enter by 6:30 PM, and it is very strict. We cannot even talk after 6:30 PM. Sometimes, we may feel frustrated. If students only want to study and don't want any other extracurricular activities then it is good. But it will ruin our enjoyment and freedom. Food is also average at that time. Overall I have a lot of good memories with my hostel mates.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very well-planned which does a great job in bringing out the best of students. They are designed thoughtfully so that it becomes easier for students to decide their future prospects. Exams are moderately tough. If students follow the lectures, attend classes regularly, and study with dedication, then it is very much possible to ace exams. However, one thing that is a bit concerning for students is the duration of the semesters.

Other: Qualifications for each scholarship may vary. We have to check, which one is good for us.

Placements: The internship opportunity is very good and we can get internships and placement in our college very easily if we are capable. I have done my internship at Kalpataru Projects Limited. I joined there as a trainee engineer and worked there for 3 months. I have learned to do CNC machine operations which help in learning new things.

Infrastructure: Our college hosts various festivals, including inter-college and national-level events, organized by different departments. Annual festivals such as Litgala, Comerena, and Ecofiesta are conducted each year. St. Thomas College has the largest library in Kottayam, with over 100,000 books and journals, as well as 5 to 8 types of national and regional newspapers. The college also features a university library and a study center to help students clear their doubts.

Faculty: Faculty members are very positive. They support us in every possible way. They help us very much with our studies. The course structure is very good and very helpful. The exams are conducted in semester wise system and also 2 class tests per semester is conducted. The merking system is very good and very fair the marks are marked according to our answers.

Other: I opted for this course to make my language better.

Best college for doing M.Sc. in Physics.

Placements: Placements are going good from different schools, banks, etc. Since our is an arts and science college many schools visit us. Also from Kodaikanal nearly 10 students from each department are getting placed, also from banks. Many students are getting placed. Most of them are getting good placements. Good placement cell is present in the college. Students are also qualifying for NET and JRF exams.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not very good. Students are good so hostel life is good. The hostel will feel like a jail. You have to enter by 6:30 PM and it is very strict. You cannot even talk after 6:30 PM. Sometimes we may feel frustrated. If you only want to study and you don't have any other extracurricular activities then it is good. But it will kill our enjoyment and freedom. Food is also average at that time. Overall, I have a lot of good memories with my hostel mates.

Faculty: The curriculum of the course is good. It contains all aspects that you need to know as a degree student. The course contains some subjects which are helpful in engineering, and it promotes research and higher studies. The curriculum does not contain any programming courses. It should be also included so that we can apply for IT field.

Overall infrastructure of the college and facilities.

Placements: Our college have the best placement opportunities in the district and the college also offers free placement training class for each students. From semester 7 onwards the placement cell gets opened and you can appear for placement if you have zero backlogs. Last time around 60-70 students got placed from this college. The companies include TCS, cognizant, Polycab etc. And the packages are quit decent.

Infrastructure: The college is well facilitated with libraries and labs for discussion, reference, science experiments etc. There are events in each month on any subject we have to conduct in the college. Campus Life are really good because there occurs different types of programs. Last year a big tech fest where held and students from different colleges approached our college to attend that. Also there will be annual sports meet, arts fest and other programs of different festivals etc. Talking about the Library , you can access to library any time you want and it's really a peaceful place in the college, and in order to take books from there you need to make library card. And once you take a book from there you need to give it back within 3 months if you want to keep it for long time you need to renew after every 3 months.

Faculty: One of the best thing about this college is the facilities and how they teach different things. Each class has tutors which includes a lady and a men. And they behaves like our parents and we can tell anything to them without any problem they find a effective solution for our Problem. We can ask any doubts to our teachers any time. You can either ask in classroom or in other plat forms including whatsapp or you can directly approach the teacher for doubt clearance.
