It is one of the best colleges in town.

Placements: The B.Ed department at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata has no placement cell. We had to force-drop our resume at different schools to get a job. Top role offered in our course are that of a school teacher starting from class 6th - 12th.

Infrastructure: All the facilities provided by our college are top-notch from smart classrooms to air-conditioning in all rooms. The infrastructure is great. Hostel facilities are good as well but way too strict as I have heard from my friends. We also have a yoga room, a basketball court and an indoor games room. The food served in the canteen lacks variety.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us with the utmost care and provide all necessary notes. The course curriculum, is given by NCERT and it includes a lot of irrelevant topics to learn like yoga and sports. Some of them are of no use later on to students.

Other: One of the best of best colleges. The atmosphere is awesome and great for every student and faculty. The "Xavotsav" is a great annual event. Always it's a student-centric teaching learning process. The canteen is good but needs to be improved in terms of food availability and quality.

Satisfied environment and good faculty.

Placements: There were many students and there were packages offered to many of us. Many of the students are working in Vedantu technical team and also, as a faculty there. Some of them are working in Byjus as a faculty.

Infrastructure: All the facilities, including canteen, hostel, food, medical facilities, sports and games are available. The quality of the sports and games was quite well. Food was up to the mark and the medical facilities provided was also good. Overall, it was a good experience.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, kind, qualified and highly knowledgeable. Their teaching qualities were also different from other colleges. The semester exams were not that tough and if a student studies well then the exams cause no worries. Yes, it makes the students ready.

Other: I wanted to become a professor so I decided to choose this course.

Special education is a stream of Bachelors .

Placements: 67 per cent of students placed in my course. 20,0788 packages were offered. 66 per cent of students got internshipss in my course.

Infrastructure: Overall development of students. The students have all the facilities for games and sports. Adequate infrastructure is provided for indoor and outdoor games and extra-curricular activities. A canteen with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is also available on the college campus. The college building has made more provisions for the expansion. Other facility consists of Drawing Hall, Conference Hall.

Faculty: One of the ways to define a qualified teacher is as a teacher "who has at least the minimum academic qualifications required for teaching their subjects at the relevant level in a given country". However, whether a teacher has a high school Diploma or a Master's Degree, neither is sufficient for ensuring good teaching.

Other: Pre&Primary Teachers' Training. These courses are meant for training students or candidates who aim at becoming future teachers in the latest available teaching methods.

Yes, you can. I myself had this combination of subjects in my 11th and 12th. I have completed my Bachelors in microbiology from Calcutta University and am now pursuing my masters in the same from BHU. Just make sure that you score well in order to get yourself enrolled in a prestigious institution.
