It's one of the best colleges in Kolkata.

Faculty: If the students study well, the semester exams are not difficult. Failure percentage is 5-10%. The teachers are so well-educated and are qualified. The teachers are knowledgeable, and they teach with a lot of effort to make the students understand.

The college has wonderful facilities and infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and clear doubts during and after lecture hours. They provide interactive teaching, making the lectures lively and interesting. Commerce courses include papers on Accounting, Costing, Economics, Business Mathematics, and new subjects like Environmental Education and Management. These papers make the students industry ready. The semester exams in the college are moderately difficult. The passing percentage is approximately 80-85% but also depends on the particular subjects.

Mildly satisfied with the faculty, great opportunity for creating future connections.

Faculty: Faculty is good, with them actually caring about the students and trying to maintain a healthy relationship with students. The quality of teaching is somewhat on par, and most of them are highly knowledgeable and helpful. They try to encourage you to study what is outside the scope of the syllabus for your own knowledge. Course curriculum is relevant as a subject, but no modern day applications are presented, and it definitely does not make you industry ready. Semester exams are pretty normal, n...

Great choice for the B.Sc. course, appropriate pricing, and overall development.

Faculty: It's really a great blend of academic focus and social opportunities. I was a bit nervous about coming here because it is known for being a bit of a schoolish college, but the day batch has significantly fewer constraints. The coursework is tough, especially in upper-level classes, but it is so much more than that, and I feel like I'm actually learning relevant things that hold practical value. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. In case anyone has a good idea with ...

First year at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Faculty: The curriculum is designed to adopt the New Education Policy (New Education Policy) with case-based questions that test a student's practical knowledge more than their theoretical knowledge. The faculty is very welcoming and makes sure that the students feel at home.

It is a fantastic college for students serious about their careers.

Faculty: Faculty is highly qualified, with most professors holding a Ph.D. degree, and the quality of teaching is excellent. The curriculum taught by the teachers is very relevant for situations in today's world, as we are taught with the help of real-life examples. Therefore, it is pretty easy to understand, and anyone who studies for 1 or 2 hours a day would be able to score really good marks, due to which the pass percentage is very high.

Great location and campus life, good professors and excellent curriculum.

Faculty: St. Xavier's College, Kolkata also has a thorough and rigorous curriculum for the Economics department. Alongside the two major papers, the college also provides a wide variety of skill enhancement and multidisciplinary subjects for a more rounded and holistic development of students, keeping in line with NEP 2020. Semester examinations are made keeping in mind the curriculum and the students' capabilities. They are designed in a way that challenges students without adding a lot of pressure on t...

It is a college that is very rooted in discipline. It's a bittersweet experience with challenges.

Faculty: Majority of the faculty members are approachable and helpful. But, some of them are pretty sack and simply read out from notes and slides without any explanation. They answer doubts in a vague way. The curriculum on pen and paper is good but the parts taught by these teachers are not understandable. But again if we put in efforts from our side to learn we can make out much of it. The course curriculum is relevant to Physics academia and industry. The course, along with its minor in CS or chemist...

St. Xavier's - A worthwhile experience.

Faculty: All professors in our department are honesty overqualified, all have a baseline of a doctorate. One of our professors, the founder of our department, has over five PhDs under his belt. The course curriculum is relevant to modern-day research and development in our field and sets students up for success in the future. Semester exams are moderately difficult but our department's exams are usually on the tougher side. The pass percentage is 40%.

St. Xavier's College Kolkata- An abode of knowledge.

Faculty: The faculty in St. Xavier's College Kolkata, is excellent and well-qualified, often of good academic/professional repute. Most professors are extremely motivating and welcoming, allowing us to pick their brains whenever we spot them in the canteen. The examinations are competitive and definitely not easy to score well in, but the class coverage and the post-test feedback provide a huge drive in the learning journey.

Good infrastructure and academic environment.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and qualified. They try to involve the whole class in the lessons and focus on real world application and examples while teaching. The course itself is heavily relied upon in the modern world as it focuses on case based learning instead of theoretical knowledge. The semester exams are moderate. The objective papers test your critical thinking skills, and the subjective papers test your ability to grasp the knowledge.

Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are the best, the teachers are all really helpful and knowledgeable, moreover, the exam structure is as such in any institution, one would say, with mid-semester and end-semesters. Exams are also standard, but such that one would pass if they studied.
