I am only not satisfied with the college infrastructure. Facilities and placements are really good.
Placements: In my college, 40% of students from the batch size of 32 and 70% of students from two-day placement drives secured placements. The average package is 3 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. This year marked the highest number of placements and internships. One of the girls in my college received an offer from the top recruiting company, TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in the college are good. There are large classes that are very good to survive. The hostel is the only thing I am disappointed with. It is the review of the hostel students. Students are suffering for food because the food quality is too low.
Faculty: Teachers and their knowledge of teaching are very good and students can study without any doubt. Teachers are in certain ways, but they are very friendly. Some teachers are too strict. In my experience, they are lovely, but in studies they are strict.

Please don't suggest this college.
Placements: There is no placement on campus. They mentioned top companies like Amazon, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Qualcomm, etc., on our website. Around 10% to 20%students got placed but only in their company such as Suguna Motors and Pumps. There are no (EEE&CIVIL) courses only a few major courses are offered.
Infrastructure: In these college I am studying BE CSE in our lab totally 70 systems having but only few off them working like (30 to 40) in library there is no books classroom is okkkk. Main topic hostel if your stay studying in hostel don't suggest this college please hostel food simply waste when they told weekly two days non veg but one day thus-night only one egg and Sunday evening only 3or 4 piece of chicken mess feels simply waste medical? If your suffering from heavy ever warden told bring your parents and go to the hospital.
Faculty: Staffs are very rude and they explain the topics are not clearly understood both students and staffs in other departments like ECE mech there is no proper lab facilities the college allied with anna university exams are little difficult if you want get clear all the exams study our own interest the staffs are not much supported.
Other: I chose BE CSE because I wanted to go into the IT industry, but after joining this college, all I want is just secure a job in any sector. There are no events, fests, campus crowds, or extracurricular activities are conducted. Another worst thing about this college has special class for 1st year students from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. On our college website, there is an indoor stadium and a synthetic track, but it is not for college students. It is for Suguna PIP School. If we try to enter the indoor stadium, we will end up in the principal's office. Please don't waste your life here, I'm begging you. I joined this college for a fee structure of Rs. 50,000.

This is not a college; it is a school.
Placements: 45% of students are placed in this college. The highest course is 50,000 for a year. Suguna Motors, Bands Pumps, and more small companies in Coimbatore. The college is not great for placement in big or normal companies. The college does not that much in placement.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi in the hostel and college. The network in the hostel and college is low. The labs do not have that much equipment in Chemistry and Physics. The library has some books. The food is okay to eat compared to other colleges. The college does not have coaches for sports.
Faculty: The faculty in this college are rushing only to finish the syllabus. They are not teaching all topics. They are teaching only the important topics. The organization of exams and seat allotment is poor. They conduct exams poorly. The question papers are even printed from the past year's record with unprinted pages.
Other: The college offers a low cost for Computer Science Engineering. They will improve the course teaching. The events are not conducted in the college and the events are not great.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: It is a good college. Top recruiting companies like HCL, Zoho, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: A canteen and sports facilities are available. The hostel security is very good. There is a separate hostel. The quality of the food is good. Purified drinking water is provided. Labs are available. A library is available. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Our classrooms are cleaned daily.
Faculty: Our teachers are good. I like Ramesh Kannan sir. The college follows the Anna University syllabus, and it's a good university.
Other: The college fee is good. There is no donation. Extracurricular activities and sports are held.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of campus crowd.
Placements: There is no placement training in the college, in my batch only 14 members are there in Mechanical Engineering. In this college, 30 to 40 % of the students only got internships from the college, that too in local companies. They give placements but the salary is given just Rs. 8000/- to Rs.12,000/- only in local companies.
Infrastructure: There is no free Wi-Fi access on the college campus. Mobile phones are not allowed in the college. Classrooms are space and long and also in neat condition. The hostel is the worst because there are no heaters in the rainy season we all are both in cold water only. And the ground floor bathroom is not in the neat condition its not able to use. 1st floor only for allows 1st year only other years are not allowed. Mess food is not good. The canteen is very small only its available biscuits and juice (not fresh) only not available puff and milk items. There are no sports days in our college and no cultural days allowed in this college.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and all staff are qualified, but the staff counts are very low because of students. The total count of the college is near 400 only and staffs are 30 only. Staffs all are knowledgeable. Only 30 to 40 % of students pass semester exams.
Other: The campus crowd is very low, it is totally of 300 to 400 students only, to improve it the college management should hold festivals and all events.

Suguna College Of Engineering has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
