Vel Tech BTech Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates, Eligibility & Placements

Admission process for Vel Tech BTech involves an entrance exam. In order to qualify for applying to Vel Tech, candidate needs to pass Class 12 with fulfilling the criteria set. There are mainly four major stages of BTech admission procedure at Vel Tech University:

Step 1: Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be passing/has passed his Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects. Usually, a minimum of 60% marks in MPC is needed by general candidates.

Step 2: Filing of Application Form

The online application form can be filed through the Vel Tech official website. Filling up personal and academic information and paying of non-refundable application fee by means of net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI is the way of online application procedure. Otherwise, the offline application can be filled by Demand Draft method.

Step 3: Appearing for Entrance Exam (VTUEEE) or Direct Entry

Via VTUEEE: Appearing in Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Exam (conducted in several phases through Computer-Based Test or Pen & Paper Test) is the requirement for entering BTech program. Score of VTUEEE decides eligibility for getting scholarship on merit basis.

Direct Entry: Candidates scoring highest in state/central boards examination or those having high percentage in MPC are eligible for direct entry into BTech seats and scholarships.

Counseling and Seat Booking: After VTUEEE rank or direct marks, participate in counseling where student can select your preferred BTech specialization. Provide original copies of mark sheets and other certificates followed by payment of admission/tuition fees.
