Peaceful college life, without ragging and union, this will be the best choice for you.

Placements: While I do not possess complete information about it, I can convey that our college offers a good percentage of placement more than 50-65 percent. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest package is 2.8 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiters are PwC, Godrej & Boyce, ICICI Bank, etc. Internship opportunities primarily focus on financial Sectors and CA/Accounting firms like JPNR Group, etc.

Infrastructure: Heritage College boasts strong infrastructure with features like digital classrooms, a library, Wi-Fi, large playgrounds, and 2-3 canteens. The classrooms are tidy and well-maintained. Quality of food is quite decent, fresh sandwiches & burgers, and more than 10 options like chowmein, rolls, biryani, etc. Most interesting non-vegetarian dishes are available so you can enjoy your meal with a view of the gigantic football field.

Faculty: All educators are well-qualified and have completed their studies at esteemed institutions. As a first-year student I have observed that our college places a strong emphasis on practical knowledge through engaging group activities, entrepreneurship projects, and events such as shark tanks. We have the opportunity to interact with industry experts for their valuable guidance. Semester exams are moderate as our college is under Calcutta University. Papers are lengthy and less time is given for preparation.

Modern infrastructure, strong CU affiliation, and decent corporate placements with activities.

Placements: It emphasizes having a solid base of Accounting & Finance. Admission is open strictly according to 10+2 marks in merit. The course fee is approximately 2.8-3.0 Lacs total. The college claims modern infrastructure and an active placement cell. Recruiters include companies like Deloitte and Amazon, and job roles exist in the finance and corporate sectors. It's preferred by students pursuing professional courses like CA, CS, or MBA. The package offered is 2.1 LPA to above 9 LPA.

Infrastructure: The commerce department and college give us a personal canteen for commerce students and one more canteen for engineering students, and we have 2 labs for commerce and engineering. We have many options for food with good quality and a reasonable price, and we have Wi-Fi facility, but access is only for faculty members. We have football, cricket, tennis, a football playground, etc. There is a girls' hostel only for boys for local sports, an event game happens every year.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with experience and they motivate, give personal guidance, mentor, and some subject is not revealed, like ENVS, CVA, etc. These are old, but some faculty are friendly and focus on every student, we understand the Calcutta University, so it makes us challenging to score well in exams and college.

Other: I chose B.Com (Hons), and I chose this college because it gives us more practical activities with proper study, a sports club, events, practical learning like photography, drama, games, entrepreneurship development, and more.

The Heritage College review.

Placements: The college provides good placements with repeated companions and price to provide ample amount of opportunities 2 the students. I have a placement at PWC and very much reputed company that falls top 4 the biggest companies in India providing placements and jobs to many B.Com students.

Infrastructure: College has very nice impressive churidar conditions with smart both availability the teachers and everyone else is very good. Library remains stocked with books and requirement is fully furnished with ample amount computers available and many other interesting facts. The one thing that college lacks is available in all classrooms. But this is not the fault of the college itself because it has been tried but due to the failure of the walls and the architecture of the college because not possible.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are really nice, they try the best trips and give their the highest ever possible for the best.

Other: College has many co-curricular activities. Events take place throughout the year from three events of the college itself and tie-ups with many reputed colleges throughout Calcutta.

It is a good place to enjoy college life.

Placements: The college offers placements from top companies like Deloitte, TCS, and others. All students with 60% and above are allowed to sit for placements. The lowest package offered is 3.25 LPA and the highest is 10.80 LPA. The college always tries to get 100% of students placed in good companies, but it is based on merit.

Infrastructure: We have amazing labs and smart classrooms, and the library has all the books one needs for their study. I cannot speak much about the hostel facilities as I don't stay there myself, but from what I have heard from my friends, it's good. Sports and games each have their club, and you can join whichever suits you best.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative. They guide us well through everything (if you attend classes regularly). The course curriculum is very relevant. I wouldn’t say it’s easy, as the college comes under CU, but if you study well, you will get through it easily.

Other: There are always many events and fests happening around the campus.

Review of The Heritage College.

Placements: The placements are not bad as per my seniors they seem to provide good placements in some of the best companies in India but these require a lot of effort from the students side which I would say is not worth it. A student can rather put that effort to make a better portfolio for himself.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is on as we don't have AC in our classes. There is no Wi-Fi for the students which for a college in 2025 is not at all acceptable especially when in Kolkata we have to face a temperature of 40 degree celsius in the summers.

Faculty: Teachers are nice. They try their very best to give each child what they deserve. They also try innovative teaching methods. The college is a bit late in all important parts. They try their best, but it's not their fault. It's the fault of the management.

Life at The Heritage College.

Placements: The Heritage College provides amazing placement opportunities in various big companies like Amazon recruiting directly from the college campus. The internships start at the end of 2nd year and at the beginning of 5th sem. It really helps us connect with great job opportunities .

Infrastructure: The Heritage College has one of the best infrastructure in Kolkata. The campus is surrounded by green grounds and is filled with libraries and conversation spots all over. It's perfect for students wanting to enjoy a nice campus life in their college days.

Faculty: The faculty at the Heritage College is one of the best in the state, if not in the country. They are high end individuals who are aware of their knowledge and can explain any topic in a very lucid language, making it extremely easy for the students to understand .

A college that follows its motto of providing knowledge with difference and making you feel at home.

Placements: The college provides good placements ranging from companies like Wipro, Deloitte, Genpact, Amazon, Axis Bank and many startups with packages ranging from 2.5 to 4 lakh per annum. The college also provided fairly good unpaid summer internships in Edtech companies and NGOs (unofficial) to brush up skills of the students.

Infrastructure: The college offers various facilities including offline and online library facilities, computer lab, games items, smart classes for classroom teaching and the campus is full Wi-Fi enabled. Hostels are provided to girl students from out of station while there is plenty availability of paying guest and local rentals available throughout the area.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and are equally friendly. The classroom learning feels like home with individual doubt clearing session. In case if required, they do not hesitate to provide extra classes. During pandemic, teachers guided us with various pdfs and online study materials and it was our college among many others that took initiative in pioneer starting of online classes. Being affiliated under Calcutta University, the course curriculum is diversified and provides the students with various topics preparing them for the industry and corporate world.

Other: I decided to take up B.Com as I have been always interested in learning of Business and finance and also my role models are from business background. I think Calcutta University can add practicality to the learning experience as B.Com syllabus tends to be very bookish knowledge based. Students should be judged not only on written tests but applicability of practical knowledge. The college offers good campus life with attendance rules, dress code rules making it feel like school a bit but also gives freedom to take part in fests all over Kolkata or other states. There are many seminars and workshops that take place throughout the year.

It has good faculty, average placements, average food, and very bad infrastructure.

Placements: More than 50% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package was 4 LPA and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Genpact, BT, Wipro, Capgemini, and Amazon. About 30% to 40% of students got internships from our course in these companies. Top roles offered in our course were in accounting and auditing, financial services, and commercial banking.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are huge, but there is no air conditioning. The library is good. You can find all the books for your course there. The quality of food available is not that great, and the same goes for sports facilities. Medical facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are amazing. They are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and the semester exams are pretty difficult. If you attend all the lectures, you won't find them difficult, and the pass percentage is 40%.
