Life of a BESC student.

Placements: Our college has a very high placement record in B.Com Honors, with around 75% of students getting placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest package is 7 LPA, and the average package is around 11 LPA. The top recruiting companies for this course include PWD. The top roles offered are in sales, accounting, and management.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is very good and socially enriched. There is a source of knowledge in every section. The library is filled with a wide range of books. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. For co-curricular activities, there are many student collectives. The canteen food is also delicious and available at a reasonable price. However, BESC does not have a hostel facility.

Faculty: Teachers in the college are very helpful and professional in their subjects. A good student-teacher relationship can be seen in the college. The subjects are also industry-ready. The college is under Calcutta University. The academic level is a little bit difficult.

Bhawanipur is one of the best colleges of Kolkata, and it is accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC.

Placements: Around 300 to 400 students get placed in well-known companies. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Infosys and Wipro. Around 90 to 95% of students get internships. The top roles offered are accountant, auditor, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities in the college are top-notch. Classrooms are well-organised and clean with AC. It has a big library and also an indoor games room. The canteen of this college looks like a small restaurant, and it serves hygienic food. Our college does not provide a hostel. However, many PGs are available nearby.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are extremely good and helpful. Many of them are CA and CS qualified. The course curriculum is very helpful for students who want to make a career in finance. It also makes students industry-ready to tackle challenges in the future. Semester exams are comparatively easy. The pass percentage is 90 percent.

Other: I chose this college because it provides a lot of facilities and conducts extracurricular activities for students. It organises the best fests in Kolkata. It has one of the best infrastructures.

It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata with a proper professional atmosphere.

Placements: About 90 to 95 percent of students get placed in our course. The highest offered is around 1 lakh per month, and the lowest is Rs. 50,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Deloitte hire students. About 85 to 95 percent of students get internships in companies like Deloitte, PwC, etc. Top roles like accountant, chief executive accountant, auditor, etc., are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: All classrooms have AC and Wi-Fi. The library is maintained very well with proper organisation of different departments of books. There is no hostel, but we have a canteen which has an awesome quality with proper cleanliness and infrastructure. There is a sports arena where we can play indoor games. Our college provides us with outdoor games too, with proper gear and guidance.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good, so we can understand it well as they clearly explain concepts with proper examples and animation. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not very difficult. About 95% of students pass the college exams.

Other: I chose this course to enhance my finance career. The best thing about this course is that it provides me with proper accounting professional activities. At this point, it is not necessary to improve anything.

Overall the college is a 10/10 in every aspect.

Placements: This college has very good placement opportunities. Even though it has its own management company, named BSEM, where you can get in. Many top companies like Wipro, TCS, etc., recruit candidates from the college. It has a 100 percent placement rate for the students. Overall, it provides great exposure with conditions to maintain a good overall CGPA.

Infrastructure: It has great infrastructure and a great study environment. It has all sports gear, etc., and the library has Wi-Fi and fully air-conditioned classrooms. It has a very good query-solving system, and the canteen accommodates the maximum number of students possible. It has many auditoriums designed for various purposes.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and quite knowledgeable. They have exposure. They teach many life skills other than academics. The teachers are supportive and friendly. The course that I am pursuing is well-designed and practical, making me future-ready. The pass percentage is quite good.

Other: The course that I am pursuing is B.Com (Hons), which is a great course. I am also pursuing a professional course. This college is the best for students who are pursuing professional courses such as CA, CS, CFA, etc. It is very lenient about attendance and also has a great social life with many events, extracurricular activities, and scholarships as well.

Absolutely satisfied with my tenure during BESC.

Placements: The percentage varied from student to student, but the average was 70%. The top companies would be ITV, Tata, etc. Roles were very starting level, accountant or marketing, it does give you a variety of roles in the company, but certainly demands experience for you to excel half.

Infrastructure: The college had equipped infrastructure, plus it had a sports arena dedicated where students enjoy their time, also had dedicated computer labs and AC classrooms. The college also had labs for different courses that they teach, and there was no hostel or PG.

Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful. The semester exams were conducted every 6 months by Calcutta University. The college followed the state board. The curriculum was easy so one can focus on studies. The course itself was average, neither harder nor easier. Papers generally starts with MCQs, for semesters.

Other: The college organisation event and extracurricular activities helps students to develop overall.

Good college, just the campus is very small, but they're working on it too.

Placements: There are a good number of students in my batch. I don't know about the packages yet. Wipro is the recruiting company. Many got internships, but not sure about the companies. The course that I did has a vast range of options for your future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college are very nice and hygienic. There are no facilities for a hostel, but the canteen has the best food at reasonable prices. Overall, the ambience and food are amazing. There is a sports arena with lots of indoor games.

Faculty: The teachers have your back always. They always try to push you beyond your limits to make you realize that you can always do better. The exams are not so difficult if you are true and consistent with your studies and schedule. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I love money like everyone else does. I wanted to study it. The college also indulges in many extracurricular activities.

Faculty members are good and they help you throughout your whole semester.

Placements: 90% of students got placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA offered in my course. Top companies are MNCs. 70-80% of students got internships from Deloitte and TCS. Top roles offered by these companies are sales manager, HR, and many more.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. Labs and classrooms are provided. There is a huge library at the college, and all the books are available according to the courses. Other than this, it offers a wide range of reading books like novels. College doesn't provide any hostel facilities. It has a canteen which feels like a cafe, and it provides good quality food.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely good, they help every student from the start. Mostly they are CA or CS professionals. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the industry ready as it provides some practical knowledge for IT subjects. Semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is 50%.

Other: I was having commerce as a stream in school, and was interested in accounts so I chose this course. It gives a basic knowledge of all the other subjects. To provide practical knowledge of the subjects that are taught.

Review of BESC - The Bhawanipur Education Society College.

Placements: The placement cell is not very active here, and people get only low-paid jobs like sales or marketing from here. No proper interviews or campus placements are conducted. Only some good jobs have been offered. The maximum offered is Rs. 30,000 per month and not more than that.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch with clean and proper equipment. Classrooms are clean, and air-conditioned with benches and a projector. The canteen looks like a restaurant. The library is clean and properly maintained. There are no complaints about the infrastructure at all.

Faculty: Faculty members in BESC are good. Teachers are polite and gentle. Regular classes do not happen due to the no attendance pressure. Even the course is not finished sometimes. Exams conducted by the college are well-designed and on time, and even the main exam is held at other universities.

Other: Events of the college are the only highlight part of the college.
