"Good campus life, supportive faculty, and decent placements.
Placements: Opportunities are there if you are proactive. Most roles are entry-level in management, sales, operations, and IT support. Recent student reviews on Shiksha mention the highest package around 5 LPA for SCMIRT, with help from the placement committee for resume, interview prep, and internships. The Suryadatta Group shares central placement highlights with multiple recruiters; group-level reports show higher speaks, but those vary by institute and course. Treat those as group numbers, not SCMIRT-specific.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are sizeable with digital boards. You get functional computer labs, a library, and Wi-Fi. Bavdhan location is well-connected. Students rate labs and classrooms positively, with Wi-Fi speed being okay. Classrooms are spacious with projectors and digital boards, used for presentations and lectures. Labs: Well-equipped computer labs for IT-related courses (especially useful for BCA, MCA, and technical projects). There is a decent library with textbooks, reference material, and journals; you also get access to online resources. Wi-Fi is available on campus, though sometimes the speed can be inconsistent. There are seminar halls for workshops, a canteen offering affordable food, and study-friendly surroundings in Bavdhan.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and approachable. Teaching focuses on concepts with practical components like presentations and projects. A few reviews say the curriculum could be more industry-oriented, but overall, teaching quality is rated good. The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), so the curriculum is as per university guidelines.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a balance of theory and practical exposure, and it is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. The best things are the supportive faculty, active campus life, and opportunities for internships. The college conducts various events, seminars, cultural fests, and workshops that give good exposure. The Bavdhan campus is well-connected and has a diverse crowd. One thing that can improve is stronger industry tie-ups and more specialized placement opportunities.

Ignored during a celebrity visit.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students were placed from our batch. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the average package was around 3.5 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies were Amazon, Jio, Kotak, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and HCL.
Infrastructure: For our course, we had good labs, an okay speed of Wi-Fi, and the classroom is big with a digital board and a library. The quality of the hostel is good, the quality of food in the canteen and mess is good, and the medical facilities are excellent. The college also provides sports tournaments and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the overall teaching quality is good. However, the course content isn't fully industry-oriented. Some subjects are outdated. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and the passing percentage is around 50%.
Other: I regret joining Suryadatta. The environment is not student-friendly at all. Whenever any celebrity or politician visits the college, bouncers are everywhere, and they don't even let students move freely on the campus. It feels like we are outsiders in our college. There is no proper interaction, no motivation, and no excitement in campus life. The crowd is not great, and events are either poorly managed or not held at all.

Review of Suryadatta College of Management Information Research and Technology.
Placements: Placements are average. The average package is 3 LPA, and not many students get the package as the recruiters are not coming to the college that much due to the off-campus location. Last year, a few people got a package of 9 LPA and 6 LPA as freshers, so the placements are average.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small and average. They are expanding the college buildings. Wi-Fi is available, classrooms are neat and clean, and most of the classrooms have adapted digital boards. Notes and other things are shared through various groups and also in class.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and friendly. Their teaching is good. If you pay attention, the curriculum comes under the NEP 2024, which is more based on practical knowledge, so it helps you understand more. Exams are usually conducted every 2 to 3 months, and CIE is conducted.

Taking admission to Suryadatta is worth it, and it makes students into better citizens.
Placements: The highest package offered is 5 LPA. Many students got internships and there are a lot of placement opportunities in the Suryadatta Group of Institution. Placement committee helps students to get placement. They also teach us small things like how to write a resume, how to prepare for interviews, and how to appear for interviews.
Infrastructure: All classrooms have very good infrastructure like projectors, good sound system, and a lot of useful books are provided in library. Library is very big and has good seating area. College also provides facilities like gym which is free for students and staff of Suryadatta Institute. Facilities like Zumba are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. All professors coordinated with students, and I took admission to BBA IB so the course syllabus is relevant to the current world. Exams are moderate to difficult level, and nearly all students pass here. Course curriculum is very relevant to the current world, but professors teach us with very relevant examples which help us to understand our syllabus. Along with academics they also teach us values and manners which are important in our lives.
Other: In our batch BBA IB 2021 to 2024, there are 55 students. The best thing about studying BBA IB we get knowledge of international market, and business culture of different countries.

I'm just irritated because of the college.
Placements: Students around 60 to 70% are placed in my course. I haven't determined what the highest, lowest, and average packages offered in my course are. I haven't experienced any company visiting the college. Approximately 10 to 15% are placed.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful and focus more on completing the chapters as quickly as possible. They target students instead of supporting them, which leads to students feeling depressed. No faculty member is up to the mark. They focus on how to fail the students. Teachers are not well-trained and don't know how to handle students. They enter the classroom, teach, and leave without concerning themselves about whether students have understood the topic or lesson. They don't focus on student growth.
Other: I am not supposed to have chosen this college, but due to some reason, I needed to. I would like to have more knowledgeable teachers. Very cheap events and festivals are conducted.

Absolutely perfect for learning new things, and I am satisfied with faculty.
Placements: Around 90+ students get placed in my course. The highest package is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Some top recruiters include Sophos, Vodafone, Accenture, AT&T, Aricent, Quickheal, CSS Corp, etc. Different internship programs hire different numbers of students. Roles include IT manager and programmer.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. The infrastructure is good and innovative. Hostel facilities are good. The food quality is good. The canteen is interactive, and medical facilities are available. There are events for sports and games. They provide different meals on different days.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant. It surely makes students industry-ready. It depends on your preparation, although exams are pretty easy. The pass percentage varies according to the exam and subject.
Other: I chose this because I like technology and want to learn more about it. The best thing about my course is that it provides insights into technology. What can improve my course is a better demand in the industry. Events, fests, and campus crowd are good. The surroundings are better, scholarships are good, and extracurricular activities are fun too.

The admission to the BCom course at SCMIRT is completely merit-based. Meeting eligibility criteria is a necessity for the admission process. The course provides flexible admission points in the odd semsters. The students can change their college, but within the same affiliated university.
